Folding like a pack of cards again.

I don't understand how Hill becomes a very reliable bat whilst everyone else goes backwards. Perhaps a testament to Hill rather than any batting coach efforts. Maybe Hilly should be player/batting coach.

Well the current main man isn't the complete package unfortunately.

Great with the short format but too many seasons in the doldrums now.

Even in the short format he has proven completely incapable of building a team that has professionalism and can behave itself.

Multiple years now we have been on the receiving end of fines and points deductions because of the poor culture at the club.

To miss out on the next stage of the T20 this year because of yet more ill behaviour from the same players is embarrassing and incompetent.

You already know the outcome next season, it's almost pointless giving a shit.

As expected

On a positive the accuracy of our bowling has improved game and after game  the bowlers are managing to keep hitting the middle of the bat.

At work so not watching but looks like we're in for another hammering here unless the weather comes to our rescue over coming days. This has to be our worst 4 day team ever. We are utter garbage.

Oh yes. Apart from Wright we are bowling at least one 4 ball an over

Good start but Durham already lead by 70 and we desperately need to keep that below 100

Finan is quite quick. Give him that. Say medium but he is quicker than Barnes and Scriven.

If he could settle on a line he may be OK?

No doubt we will be around 7 wickets down by the time we get to 70

Maybe coaching will help him, he looks a bit raw. I thought he was settling and then he bowls a massive wide and a no ball!

Decent effort with the ball there tbh. Same against Notts last week in the first innings.

Batsmen have to give them some sort of chance.

Parky bowled well gave us some control

After that first innings knock Budinger showing in the second innings that he might fit in well with the existing batting unit after all...

Raine and Potts are a pretty tasty pairing if the ball is going to be doing anything.

Incidentally I see alongside Buck retiring that Thurston, Curran and Glover have been released by Northants.

I think we've been linked with a Northants batter so I'm sure either above would jump at the chance of another chance at a County. Would any other County be in for either though?

Think you may be right.

Asad is devoid of any shots lately. Always been a slow starter but it's almost like he is just playing for time?

45 balls for 9 and one of those was a 4.

Good player imo but really needs some support and perhaps some time out the side.

its painful.

Bizzare innings then inevitably got out.

80 balls faced in the game 16 runs scored 2 of which were fours.

At least try and score and take the pressure off

That's what I'm saying yes.

Just turn the strike over. Don't have to be Sehwag do you.

Any pro should be able to clip it for one or run it to third man etc

Potts has been the difference in this game but it's still so demoralising.

Very good bowler yep.

Some woeful batting though. Got themselves out.

Going into a game with 5 batsmen 2 of which are desperately out of form.

I just don't know what Nixon expects from a side like this. Only three players averaging over 30. Its bloody awful.

Can't believe how poor this 11 is, we can all see it.

I don't imagine any first class side has ever been put out with worse statistics. Ever
