And depressingly, once again we look like struggling to get half of what the opposition have amassed by way of runs, in conditions that don’t appear to be worse than yesterday. Unless our tail wags like a dog with five tails.

Have you seen the dismissals on this wicket? It’s hardly a minefield, Some incredibly poor batting from both sides

He had a broken rib which is why it took a while for him to get in. His howling has been very tidy when he’s played but he’s not got going when batting - so it’s pleasing he got a half century today.

 

I agree about the selections generally though, no rhyme or reason half the time.

Only player we have who averages 40. 

 

That used to be regular occurrence in a top 6 batting order.
