I don't know if this has already been posted but I've just seen that the football league will be enforcing a total smoking ban at every league ground, this goes further than the government legislation.

:( I'm crying for every smoker, right now!!!

Out in the pub on Saturday night everyone was smoking like crazy. I woke up Sunday morning (with a very sore head) and my clothes smelt well.... disgusting.

Never again though eh

That was my point; they don't. Well not many do.

I don't care whether it's harmful or not, people shouldn't have to suffer it.

Hey! I'm on your side here!!

I was shocked, looking round the pub at the proportion of people in there who were smoking. I never really thought of it before, just never seemed to be a material or an important thing to me... but looking round that pub, I'd say over half the people in there were smoking (and there were hundreds of people in this place).

No chance of me ever having an illicit cigarette again and then blaming the smell on the other 'revolting people' in the pub that were smoking, then?

Ok, so maybe I've not had to use that excuse for years, but knowing it was there if I needed it felt kinda comforting.

Are you coming to pick me up in this TVR soon?

And must I leave my Celine Dion cd at home?

Where is Alex anyhoo, I want to know how his non smoking is going.

He's probably on a killing spree due to nicotine withdrawal.

My girlfriend is giving up - not that I imagine you care.

She used to smoke quite a lot. Has been a few days over the past week with nothing, but struggling to go cold turkey.

She's cut down anyway, which is good.

It's for the best people - keep at it and don't be ashamed to use anything to help you out - sucking lollipops, using the patches or just shouting at your mates! :P

Yes to both of the above. :yesyes::yesyes:

Although on second thoughts... bring the CD along

I'd derive obscene amounts of pleasure from 'accidentally' running it over.

Alright, save last nights lack of sleep, which is strange as I've packed in loads of times without that happening.

Instead of pubs and clubs smelling of smoke it will just smell of sweat and body odour. Brilliant carnt wait.

 does sweat and body odour cause cancer?

What sort of pubs do you go to?

She'd kinda given up on the singing.

I'm trying to make her re-consider though. She's fantastic.

Although it should be noted that I can sing LOUDER. And I know all the words to Pj and Duncan - Let's Get Ready to Rhumble.PSYCHE!
