Joseph Desire-Job

[The People's Hero]

I bet JDJ ain't happy.

Reckon he might end up here in the end.

From the merc

"City are still hopeful of landing two or three more players as soon as possible, but former Middlesbrough Joseph-Desire Job will not be one of them. Allen said a deal could not be agreed with his French club Sedan."

edit: sorry just seen it has been done.

[Ric Flair]

It's because they obviously wanted a fee for him and we weren't prepared to pay a high one. Wonder who's next lined up?

Job has had a medical here as well?! Bet he's pissed off.

LOCK THE THREAD

[Gené and Tonic]

aha, from one player who has never played outside the top level to one player who never has. Great.

Still think he's the best option. Unless MA and MM have someoe from the continent lined up

[Ozwin]

To be honest the Job signing didn't excite me all that much anyway. I checked his goalscoring record and for a striker it wasn't sublime. I don't see why we don't dealve deeper into the Iranian leagues, see what we can find. Maybe even a Japanese player. Give us that multi-cultural edge and of course, bringing in the dough from memorabilia etc.

LOCK THE THREAD

Oi! Mods!

Babylon said "LOCK THE THREAD"

Ahem...B.A.B.Y.L.O.N.

Tch, apologies Babs - you just can't find the staff these days

[Finnegan]

I'll lock it when I'm ready, innit? Right now this donut is looking more tempting...
