We've reportedly got an offer on Lee Hendrie's table for £20,000 a week (i.e. similar sort of thing to what Fowler will be forced to settle for) and Mandaric may see him as the sort of big-name signing that will appeal to the fans.

Averaged a goal about every 2 games for a team in France's top league last season. A ratio even top scorer Pauleta didn't beat, plus Job's team got relegated. He got 9 goals in 20 starts. 46 caps for Cameroon, is no mean feat either.
