Ric Flair Posted 2 July 2007 Posted 2 July 2007 that would be special.Obviously not, that would be a very Thracian way of thinking about it, but in this case I think it is. Another about McLeod is that he goes Weeks without scoreing and then has a hot streak, then goes weeks without scoreing, which in my experince fans at Leicester aren't paticularly fond of. Iain Hume stylee.
potter3 Posted 2 July 2007 Posted 2 July 2007 Youwhat? Think he's on about McLeod, Bolton are interested supposedly.
MPH Posted 2 July 2007 Posted 2 July 2007 Given the number of times that the Mockery has got it wrong, I won't get too excited just yet. . well, yes, but is has a better strike rate that most of the tabloids. mirror isnt too bad, but the merc im guessing gets its news from those closer to the club rather than some papers who get theirs from their friends uncles sister-in-laws best friends neighbor.....

Or Blanderson just sits in the office making it up? Who knows....
Geo V Posted 2 July 2007 Posted 2 July 2007 Job would be a good signing IMO as he has quite a good all-round game. Good pace, decent finishing and can hold the ball up. He can run with the ball as well which is a blessing
davieG Posted 2 July 2007 Posted 2 July 2007 From the Middlesbrough OS Boro Old Boy In Foxes Talks JOSEPH-DESIRE JOB could make a surprise return to English football after holding preliminary talks with Championship side Leicester City. The Cameroon international is available on a free transfer after leaving relegated French Ligue One side Sedan. His agent Barry Silkman gave some not so cryptic clues when asked about the current speculation: "It begins with L, ends in R and is owned by the former Portsmouth owner." And new sports director Don Mackay will know all about the striker, having worked with him closely during their time on Teesside together. Job cost Boro £3m when he moved from Lens back in 2000. He scored on his league debut at Coventry City and forged an exciting partnership with Alen Boksic. Job will always be fondly remembered by Boro fans for scoring after just two minutes and winning a penalty during Boro's Carling Cup final victory over Bolton Wanderers at the Millenium Stadium.
Babylon Posted 2 July 2007 Posted 2 July 2007 I doubt he'll come here anyway, his agent was obviously trying to tout for other teams to come in for him.
mancunianfox Posted 2 July 2007 Posted 2 July 2007 I doubt he'll come here anyway, his agent was obviously trying to tout for other teams to come in for him. I've lost count of how many times have we said that over the last few weeks
Geo V Posted 2 July 2007 Posted 2 July 2007 I didnt realise he was another freebie. That makes the deal even better if it happens.
Ric Flair Posted 2 July 2007 Posted 2 July 2007 I doubt he'll come here anyway, his agent was obviously trying to tout for other teams to come in for him. Any more news on that Kaebi??

dandannieldanok Posted 2 July 2007 Posted 2 July 2007 Would we have to pay for Job or is he out-of-contract?

Ric Flair Posted 2 July 2007 Posted 2 July 2007 Going back to the Job in hand. He scored 9 league goals in 25 games last season. The top scorer in the whole of the league only scored 15 and that was Pauleta, which I expect he did in over 25 games. So Job's record is looking fairly impressive to me, me ode.

Pauleta 30 starts 15 goals. Job 20 starts 9 goals. Not bad at all, I just get the feeling he'll be another one of those that got away.

When you put it that way, it sounds pretty decent. I had my reservations about his goalscoring abilities but this has reassured me somewhat...
The People's Hero Posted 2 July 2007 Posted 2 July 2007 5 were offside, 2 were lucky, 3 were only possible due to good work from Elvis and the rest don't count as he's over 19 years old. Complete waste of time and money and just an insult to all the young players at the club.

mancunianfox Posted 2 July 2007 Posted 2 July 2007 It's time we signed a player who we'd actually be happy with, though!!!! I don't think thats prossible...too many opinions!
imran8sattar Posted 2 July 2007 Posted 2 July 2007 It's time we signed a player who we'd actually be happy with, though!!!! Yes but job must be a good player if he capable enough in the premiership! Him and todorov coming in will be brilliant. and clemence in the middle will be a dream but one problem is that my dreams never come true
The People's Hero Posted 2 July 2007 Posted 2 July 2007 Bocadillo on TB says it's a done deal!! Well I'm certainly not going to argue with a Spanish sandwich.
