You will have noticed that a fair chunk of the French team in recent years were not strictly speaking born in (or even near) France. Even the most superficial of reading sessions will uncover that he has represented his nation at U21 level...so, yes, it was a pretty dumb question.

Is he going to be a starting 11 kind of signing or another one for the future/backup? It's just we have him training with us but i'm really struggling to get excited over this guy....

It would appear to me that Allen is looking for characteristics in the players showing commitment, and hunger to succeed before dishing out lucrative contracts to any of these players. I would imagine Milan and MA are taking every step to ensure each and every player coming here is for the right reasons, people like Wise, Josh Low, and Andy Johnson have shown you can never be to careful.

I went on Tuesday and it was all fitness really, especially on the near side where we were allowed to stand. Couldn't tell anything about his ability with the ball.
