Alexikokopops Posted 26 July 2007 Posted 26 July 2007 Stuff I agreed with your views on the ones I answered pretty much. This is worrying.
Daggers Posted 26 July 2007 Author Posted 26 July 2007 <stuff> Phube - you seem content with anything that doesn't involve horror scenes or Sheffield United...ahh, more horror scenes. I get it. It's just a horror thing.
Daggers Posted 26 July 2007 Author Posted 26 July 2007 THERE SHOULD BE A FILM FORUM, SOMEBODY MAKE IT HAPPEN If enough threads about films get started then maybe it will happen...it worked for transfer bullshit

It's just a horror thing. Not sure what you're on about there (not the Sheff U thing!! ) I love horror films, and really liked the Ring, but I preferred the Grudge (scary little Japanese boy!!), Battle Royal, Hostel, Saw. But 7 is a good score from me.
Flynny Posted 26 July 2007 Posted 26 July 2007 At least everyone's agreed that American Beauty is an excellent film. Also, in the Orange ad thats on before films (at least in the odeon), is the woman playing Joan of Arc/Cheerleader the girl from American Beauty? The slutty one?

It's "I don't care if it is France, that's sick", which is one of my favourite lines in just about anything. How DARE you mess it up? I need to find that ad online.

Nationwider Posted 26 July 2007 Posted 26 July 2007 Flight of the Navigator - not seen, is it like The Neverending Story? Gremlins - not seen, looks a bit crap. When Saturday Comes - poo, 2. Goal - looks crap, not seen. Speed - 4, without Sandra Bullock, 2, without Cruise, 5. I hate Tom Cruise like nothing else. Romy and Michelle - never seen, thank god. Trois couleurs: Bleu - not seen. American Beauty - absolutely love it, 9. Fight Club - It's been on my +box for ages, unviewed as yet. I should be able to do better than that, but I can't think....*edit*, of course, The Big Lebowski! Thanks, Jesus Quintana! Doh. action - dunno really, I don't like stuff with cars and explosions and the like. 's all bollocks, init? war - I bought Apocalypse Now recently, but I've not watched it yet. I'll say Apocalypse Now. Favourite film of all time - Pulp Fiction.

I need to find that ad online. I know... I went to bed that night and thought: Bugger wrong way round!!! (Yes I lead an exciting life!! )
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 27 July 2007 Posted 27 July 2007 Next film I'm going to see - Transformers Saw it last night, had to sit in row 2 because it was rammed. Okay film I guess, some good humour in it without being too cheesy although being a 12A you're going to get a portion, at times though you just can't work out what's going on (might be due to the fact I was literally sniffing the screen - note TBJS is not a serial cinema-screen sniffer). Could have been alot better in my opinion, the ending was a bit of a mash-up!!!

Master Fox Posted 27 July 2007 Posted 27 July 2007 I got my number around the wrong way...the ewok film pulls a paltry 4, a film for the lovers of teddy bears everywhere. Do you mean Return To Endor? I got stung by a bee watching that film.
