Guest lcfc80 Posted 31 July 2007 Posted 31 July 2007 ..... you've been following leicester. Grimsby and Rotherham stand out, aswell as that open terrace at Gillingham
lildave3 Posted 31 July 2007 Posted 31 July 2007 ..... you've been following leicester.Grimsby and Rotherham stand out, aswell as that open terrace at Gillingham Rotherham and Colchester. Luton was a shitter aswell.
Stuliasz Posted 31 July 2007 Posted 31 July 2007 Toss us between Luton and Rotherham, Luton probably just edges it though. The concept of legroom does not exist there.
James. Posted 31 July 2007 Posted 31 July 2007 Luton's ground is compounded by the fact it's an absolute hole of a town. However I won't hear a bad word said against Colchester. Ok, so it's a little "rusty" but that's more than offset by the fun factor.
Blue Bob Posted 31 July 2007 Posted 31 July 2007 Toss us between Luton and Rotherham, Luton probably just edges it though. The concept of legroom does not exist there. Not only Luton ground but the surrounding area too. I remember going down there in the 90's when Leicester fans starting smashing the area up. All the Leicester fans were rounded up and given a police escort to the ground. An old boy in front of me apologised to one of the coppers saying he was sorry for the actions of the Leicester fans were not all like that. The copper told him not to worry as they had made major improvements to the area.
Durnerz Posted 31 July 2007 Posted 31 July 2007 Crystal palace was pretty bad, crappy surrounding area, wooden seats and two pillars in the way! Not to mention unsavoury characters around the ground, hated it.
Blue Bob Posted 31 July 2007 Posted 31 July 2007 Crystal palace was pretty bad, crappy surrounding area, wooden seats and two pillars in the way! Not to mention unsavoury characters around the ground, hated it. Went there a few years ago. Had to walk to the nearest train station in Brixton. Lovely area
James. Posted 31 July 2007 Posted 31 July 2007 Brighton, anybody? Good shout. Shocker. Although they did do a tasty Cornish pasty.

Not to mention unsavoury characters around the ground, hated it. been there twice and had trouble getting there both times. anyone remember the 95/96 when we went up? massive power cut on the underground that game
l444ry Posted 31 July 2007 Posted 31 July 2007 The (old) Den with that horrendous floodlight in the way and Cambridge Utd. spring to mind.
Guest lcfc80 Posted 31 July 2007 Posted 31 July 2007 People are this bored then. thats miles away from the ground. Jumped off a bus there for the wimbledon semi final, horrid place. ended up hitching a lift with some wimbledon fan
Lovejoy Posted 31 July 2007 Posted 31 July 2007 West Brom last september was fecking shite. Me and a mate got food poisoning from their food and i nearly got thrown out for standing up to clap a substituti on
Maybes Posted 31 July 2007 Posted 31 July 2007 Luton, Rotherham and colchester. Luton is just a shanty town. Rotherham, well enough said. Colchester - 1 toilet and maybe enough space for 3 blokes to have a piss at the same time. Shocking
Guest lcfc80 Posted 31 July 2007 Posted 31 July 2007 thats miles away from the ground. Jumped off a bus there for the wimbledon semi final, horrid place. ended up hitching a lift with some wimbledon fan wrong quote, that was for the brixton post
Wycombe Fox Posted 31 July 2007 Posted 31 July 2007 Fratton Park, Portsmouth. Crap ground and a fair share of oxygen thieves. No roof at the away end FFS!
Head Honcho Posted 31 July 2007 Posted 31 July 2007 Brighton is the worst ground by far but that's understandable. Anyone going to Chelsea in the 90's will have been appalled by the building site we were made to watch the match on but just because it's a twat of a ground to get to I'm going for Palace with the old Wimbledon ground a close second.
Alexikokopops Posted 31 July 2007 Posted 31 July 2007 Just you wait 'til we play S****horpe. It's an absolute shithole, the ground and the town.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 31 July 2007 Posted 31 July 2007 I genuinely like most of the grounds mentioned so far. The worst one I've been to is Huddersfield - 5,000 crowd in a 22,000 capacity ground at a guess. Miles from the pitch and no atmosphere. Rubbish.
Simi Posted 31 July 2007 Posted 31 July 2007 I genuinely like most of the grounds mentioned so far. The worst one I've been to is Huddersfield - 5,000 crowd in a 22,000 capacity ground at a guess. Miles from the pitch and no atmosphere. Rubbish. That would be my definition on a shit ground. Other grounds that have been mentioned are really good for atmosphere etc.
Brainy Posted 31 July 2007 Posted 31 July 2007 Just you wait 'til we play S****horpe. It's an absolute shithole, the ground and the town. That looks a nice stadium (and pitch), suitable for a club like S****horpe. However I haven't been and looking outside of the stadium, the town does look like a shithole.
