Phube Posted 18 August 2007 Posted 18 August 2007 Can we wait for a few games before we decry or proclaim him to be the worst/best manager ever... Pleeeeeeease!!
Bryn Posted 18 August 2007 Posted 18 August 2007 I see his record as IT'S BEEN TWO FRICKIN GAMES YOU MORONS. Not you as such Stevo I shall point out.
AyewJoking Posted 18 August 2007 Posted 18 August 2007 Yes I dont count the cup game. Milan isnt here to win the Carling Cup we want promotion (or solidarity if you like to "keep it real") Just a really disappointing start after all the hype and expectation built up over the summer.
Phube Posted 18 August 2007 Author Posted 18 August 2007 I see his record as IT'S BEEN TWO FRICKIN GAMES YOU MORONS.Not you as such Stevo I shall point out. If you're having a go at me, then you really don't understand the post do you!!? If not, then too bloody right!!
Bryn Posted 18 August 2007 Posted 18 August 2007 If you're having a go at me, then you really don't understand the post do you!!? If not, then too bloody right!! Oh God no, not having a go at you And that seems sarcastic so I will clarify again, not aimed at either Stevo or Phubes or Roy...
Daggers Posted 18 August 2007 Posted 18 August 2007 I see his record as...P2 W0 D1 L1 Since when did cup games cease to be competitive matches?
Phube Posted 18 August 2007 Author Posted 18 August 2007 I love this drivel!!! What drivel... are you having a go at me too?? Or am I being paranoid??
morris1234 Posted 18 August 2007 Posted 18 August 2007 What drivel... are you having a go at me too?? Or am I being paranoid?? i agree with you phube! ive said it so many times but sunderland were 23rd after five games without a win which was when roy keane took over and they did well in the end
Stevosevic Posted 18 August 2007 Posted 18 August 2007 Since when did cup games cease to be competitive matches? The league games are important for us, we wont win the cup despite it being a nice distraction. At the end of the season when we look at Allen's performance we will not top up his win's column with results against league two opposition, i don't think we should anyway.
Leicester's 12th Man Posted 18 August 2007 Posted 18 August 2007 His record isP3, W1, D1, L1, F3, A3You count ALL competitive games and so far it has been an average start in terms of starts* stats
Zingari Posted 18 August 2007 Posted 18 August 2007 Can we wait for a few games before we decry or proclaim him to be the worst/best manager ever... Pleeeeeeease!! maybe i'm being cynical , but surely starting these threads has the opposite effect
DB11 Posted 18 August 2007 Posted 18 August 2007 i agree with you phube! ive said it so many times but sunderland were 23rd after five games without a win which was when roy keane took over and they did well in the end So appoint a new manager after five games? An ex-footballer? Paul Ince?

Dames Posted 18 August 2007 Posted 18 August 2007 Allens still tinkering with his side and still trying to make some signings to get the right combination. Its about time people lowered thier expectations just sat back and let things unfold before judging him.
bigboy Posted 18 August 2007 Posted 18 August 2007 What drivel... are you having a go at me too?? Or am I being paranoid?? Is someone talking about me behind my back, or maybe I'm paranoid too?
Phube Posted 19 August 2007 Author Posted 19 August 2007 Can't believe we have a record thread after THREE games. My whole point!! He's had 3 games!!! Just 3!!!!! Can we atleast wait until he's had at least 10!!!!!
Suffolk_fox Posted 19 August 2007 Posted 19 August 2007 I counting the Cup game. Beating Accrington Stanley was impressive I believe - only a fool thinks a 'lower league' team is a walk over. The likes of Man Utd, Liverpool, etc all hate having to play smaller teams and with good reason. Remember, the large number of signings will need a longer period to gel, and the more games they play the better in my book. Give MA at least 2 years!
