meadwell5 Posted 19 August 2007 Posted 19 August 2007 Daily Star Watford and Lecester are fighting it out for Crystal Palace striker Shefki Kuqi.
Charnwood Norris Posted 19 August 2007 Posted 19 August 2007 Pushing 31, too slow and on the slide. We don't need another striker unless we find better than what we've got.
Tommeh Posted 19 August 2007 Posted 19 August 2007 No way! was reading 4-4-2's season preview on the train to palace, and on their fan interview it said: On player you'd happily drive to their next club and he said Kuqi. Plus he is the wrong side of 30, had one good season with Ipswich and people thought he was a world beater! He is a player who's goal celebration will always be more remembered than any achievements on the pitch.
Bryn Posted 19 August 2007 Posted 19 August 2007 I'd be willing to give him a go on a short deal for not that much money but that ain't about to happen and I wouldn't wanna risk it otherwise, he's a player in decline.
Webbo Posted 19 August 2007 Posted 19 August 2007 You "read" the Daily Star? I think read is putting it a little strongly. Anyway, good in the air, just the kind of striker we're lacking.
Maybes Posted 19 August 2007 Posted 19 August 2007 Only for £0 and pay as you play. Otherwise a no-no.
Simi Posted 19 August 2007 Posted 19 August 2007 Can we just bring him on when we score so he can do his celebration and then go off? No? No thanks then.
lee7 Posted 19 August 2007 Posted 19 August 2007 does anyone know what he was like when he came on against us.
Mickey O'Neil Posted 19 August 2007 Posted 19 August 2007 I'd have had him a few years ago....not now though thanks. I'd like us to get Riordan in.
Joe. Posted 19 August 2007 Posted 19 August 2007 I'd have had him a few years ago....not now though thanks. I'd like us to get Riordan in. Yeah same here. I think Riordan would be a fantastic signing :w00t:
MPH Posted 19 August 2007 Posted 19 August 2007 he is a target man. if you compare him to the likes of dj and hume, no way if you compare him to the likes of MDV ( the position he would be vying for..) then im more tempted.
meadwell5 Posted 19 August 2007 Author Posted 19 August 2007 You "read" the Daily Star? Not at all, Teamtalk has all papertalk everyday.
MBK Posted 19 August 2007 Posted 19 August 2007 he is a target man.if you compare him to the likes of dj and hume, no way if you compare him to the likes of MDV ( the position he would be vying for..) then im more tempted. Good thinking. But tbh, we should replace only Hammond and de Vries. Leave the rest there. Kuqi not so ideal. I'd be tempted for Riordan but enough said.
Chairman of the Bored Posted 19 August 2007 Posted 19 August 2007 Heaven's above, no! Riordan a much better bet. Joe Jordan a much better bet than Kuqi!
Geo V Posted 19 August 2007 Posted 19 August 2007 Another mega money signing by Taylor that was a waste of money. I think he cost £2.5m or something and he is shite. Please stay away, even on a Bosman!
Daggers Posted 19 August 2007 Posted 19 August 2007 Not at all, Teamtalk has all papertalk everyday. Apologies
NorthernFox Posted 19 August 2007 Posted 19 August 2007 We neither need or want this player. Stay in the smoke thanks all the same.
