Stevosevic Posted 25 August 2007 Posted 25 August 2007 Also the young lad who was stabbed a while back, was a member of their academy and very highly rated.

Yes, Harry Smart was hit by a train, not sure whether he died or not, but he was apparently friends with the lad who was stabbed. Just go on the BBC homepage these days and it seems like everyone is killing one another at the moment.
Joe. Posted 25 August 2007 Posted 25 August 2007 I'm pretty shocked about this. I know he was a great prospect for QPR. RIP Ray.
Stevosevic Posted 25 August 2007 Posted 25 August 2007 http://www.teamtalk.com/football/story/0,1...2684140,00.html Click here. TEAM PAGES Burnley Queens Park Rangers The Football League have urged fans not to travel to Turf Moor for the scheduled 3pm kick-off. A new date for the fixture has yet to be announced. Jones was involved in an accident at approximately 12.20am at East Ham and was pronounced dead on the scene. A statement on QPR's website simply read: "Everyone at Queens Park Rangers extends their deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Ray at this sad time. "The club will be making no further comment at this time." Jones, who was due to celebrate his 19th birthday on Tuesday, was a regular member of the Rangers squad last season. What was he doing in a car at 12:20am on a matchday?
