As long as it's notLeveinPleatKellyWarnockTaylorHe can appoint whoever he wants. I'd even take a Belgian - preferably TinTin.ps no offence to Belgians. Are there any Belgians here? Why not?We need a Belgian.
My Gran is Belgian which I guess makes me quarter Belgian

I'd happily take on the responsibilities of manager too.Sadly I can't afford to buy the club as others do when they want to be manager

Well i'm based in Bristol and took my girlfriends boy to watch Bristol Rovers who were playing Nottingham Forest.

Before the game, forest were warming up in front of us so i gave a shout to Neil Lennon and asked him if he was applying for the Leicester Job - he turned round and smiled - and said something in mummbled Irish that I couldn't make out. Felt it would have been rude to ask again so said thanks and moved down the other end.

May i also add that Forest were shocking, they by no way deserved the 2-2 draw they got - they have serious problems their - It seems only a matter of time for Calderwood and I just wonder if Allen will end up getting back into management there.

And today they lost 3-2 to a side a division below them in fron t of about 3000 supporters lol

Beucause that Bradford City team he presided over was absolutely shocking, The Sheffield Wednesday team he presided over was even worse, he was given stupid amount of money at Wigan and that’s what got them up, and he nearly took them down last season despite having a reasonable squad.

Just my opinion. Don't see why we have to have a big name with "experince" either. I'd like somone whos actually good at their job.

Thats a good point it seems fashionable to say Jewell is a good manager but I think Dowie would do a better job.

I know that Covscum have no investors yet but Dowie would be a madman to leave them after having what seems like a decent summer with some good bosmans and a good start to the season. I`d like him here as I think he did very well at Oldham and then Palace and Charlton didn't give him a fair chance and his dismissal wasn't the right choice was it?!

Leicester chairman Milan Mandaric will approach Coventry in a bid to gain permission to talk to Iain Dowie about the vacant manager's role at the Walkers Stadium. (The Mirror)

"Of course Mr Mandaric, feel free to have our manager who has taken us to the top of the division.

You don't even have to compensate us for it!"..........THAT???

If dowie wants out we'll get him.

No point Cov keeping a manager who doesn't want to be there, of course they'll be compensated.

I seriously think that MM should hire a continental manager who is experienced with having a 'President' style chairman like MM.

Capello was looking at an offer from an MLS team, so surely the opportunity of getting a side to the Premiership would be attractive?

And I also agree with the Martin Jol suggestion, but he might want more job security!

I agree with Wenger, Ferguson, Cappello, Jol and Mourinho. Benitez would be made to shave his beard as part of any firm contract offer. I think they'de all get job security. Although methinks the idea of them coming here would make them laugh out loud..... Have you lost your mind Suffolk Fox?

Berbatov and Jol for Leicester.

That bits a joke right? :dunno:

Which bit?

Capello coming to the 2nd tier of English Football.

This bloke is a legend! He started by having that amazing side at Milan and then showed he isnt a one trick pony by winning titles at Real in 97 (one season) and then again ten years later with the same club with another solitary season in charge, the last one after they had a bit of a barren spell but he still turned it around. In between he won the title with Roma and Juventus twice although the latter titles were stripped after the dodgy match fixing sacndal.

His next destination would be one of the worlds biggest clubs and not a second tier club within English Football.

if we get dowie my missus will be well upset, she`s a cov fan and works in the hospital in coventry, she thinks he`s brilliant at the moment and would be gutted to lose him. not so sure about him myself, think coventry are flattering to decieve at the minute and a downward slide is probably imminent
