lookwhaticando Posted 11 September 2007 Posted 11 September 2007 Chris Coleman is in danger of the sack after just four games at Real Sociedad. (The Sun) I'm surprised this one hasn't already been suggested today. Coleman interests me a lot more than Smegson, Roedent, Warnock and Reid do. But not as much as Gérard.

Mandaric said he wasn't interested in him in the summer and Coleman said he never wanted it.

The People's Hero Posted 11 September 2007 Posted 11 September 2007 Has Cordoba gone from being an eccentric goalkeeper to an entire, bottom half, Primera Liga team?
lookwhaticando Posted 11 September 2007 Posted 11 September 2007 Non-starter in my book. Mandaric said he wasn't interested in him in the summer and Coleman said he never wanted it. I'm stabbing around in the dark for a mildly interesting candidate since it looks like Gérard is out of the running.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 11 September 2007 Posted 11 September 2007 I'm stabbing around in the dark for a mildly interesting candidate since it looks like Gérard is out of the running. I think he's just been an excuse to use that fancy accént.
Geo V Posted 11 September 2007 Posted 11 September 2007 Has Cordoba gone from being an eccentric goalkeeper to an entire, bottom half, Primera Liga team? Talking of South American players, I saw that Carlos Valderamma made a come back for the Womens Japanese National side against England today.
Ric Flair Posted 11 September 2007 Posted 11 September 2007 I think he's just been an excuse to use that fancy accént. It's taken me ages to work out exactly what Kaebi is attempting to flying kick in your signature. I thought it was a bar of soap, which I thought perhaps they use as a ball in Iran. But then I spotted the clenched fist after several minutes of staring.
The People's Hero Posted 11 September 2007 Posted 11 September 2007 Fez, has this descended in to farce yet?
lookwhaticando Posted 11 September 2007 Posted 11 September 2007 I think he's just been an excuse to use that fancy accént. I have to copy and paste his name from Wikipedia whenever I want to mention him because I don't have the accented e on my keyboard, nor can I be bothered to look at the character map. Shame he's joining the French FA as technical director, though.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 11 September 2007 Posted 11 September 2007 I hold down Alt and press 0233 on the keyboard. Like this. éé - hey that Alt Gr + E thing works too! I think we've all learned a valuable lesson today.
The People's Hero Posted 11 September 2007 Posted 11 September 2007 é I just typé it, I havé a spécial button. In fact it's a kéy, not a button.

I think we've all learned a valuable lesson today. My keyboard is somewhat lacking in function... it is missing a numpad, since it is a laptop I use (and not a very big one at that). I have to key: Fn + Alt and M K L L I have a numpad of sorts... I just have to hold the Fn key to make it work. That's actually rather pointless, if you think about it. What good is the numpad if you have to hold a key to make it work? That completely defeats the purpose.

lookwhaticando Posted 11 September 2007 Posted 11 September 2007 Haven't you got numbers above your letters?Bloody Canadians. Due South was good though. For the purposes of the ALT codes, you require the numpad. Naturally, my keyboard has numbers across the top of the keyboard... `1234567890- as you see... but they do not function with ALT to make special characters.

You're going to need a new keyboard when Milan appoints Prédrag Mijélénécévic from Gélétéséréy Bélgradé as our new manager.

demon_dog Posted 11 September 2007 Posted 11 September 2007 According to the Sun today, Warnock has told MM he does not want the job. The favourites are now Reid and Megson. Not keen on either, hope he has someone else lined up.
Kent Fox Posted 11 September 2007 Posted 11 September 2007 Mégson will get the job. I keep telling you..

DJ Barry Hammond Posted 11 September 2007 Posted 11 September 2007 I found this site interesting - LMA look at all the amazing available managers available including Jan Molby Steve Claridge Ossie Ardiles (Click on this and a fab picture appears!) Tony Cottee Trevor Francis (Yuk!) George Graham (And Stewart Houston) Are very own Rob Kelly, Dave Bassett (is he really still looking for work!) and Martin Allen Mel Machin Géard Houlliér (without the é - maybe someone should email them to tell them about the Alt Gr + e) Herve Renard - who's he? The two foriegn blokes that were at stoke Joe Royal Iffy Onuora, it's Iffy Onuora! Berti Vogts and Ernie Tippett - don't know who he is either - shall have to Wik this one - but hire him for the cool name.
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 11 September 2007 Posted 11 September 2007 Ah ha! Nothing on Wikepedia expect that he preceed Batty Hunter at Rushden & Diamonds - but I've found a picture! Tippett won just six of his 35 games in charge and leaves the club five points off the bottom of the League Two table. The former Wimbledon coach was appointed back in April but was unable to save the club from relegation into League Two, although he had only two games in which to do it. Sounds like just the man to me!
