DJ Barry Hammond Posted 11 September 2007 Posted 11 September 2007 Here's Megsons Managerial record courtesy of Wikipedia. Think that confirms it - he sucks!
Simon Posted 11 September 2007 Posted 11 September 2007 I found this site interesting - LMAlook at all the amazing available managers available including Jan Molby Steve Claridge Ossie Ardiles (Click on this and a fab picture appears!) Tony Cottee Trevor Francis (Yuk!) George Graham (And Stewart Houston) Are very own Rob Kelly, Dave Bassett (is he really still looking for work!) and Martin Allen Mel Machin Géard Houlliér (without the é - maybe someone should email them to tell them about the Alt Gr + e) Herve Renard - who's he? The two foriegn blokes that were at stoke Joe Royal Iffy Onuora, it's Iffy Onuora! Berti Vogts and Ernie Tippett - don't know who he is either - shall have to Wik this one - but hire him for the cool name. Former Cambridge United manager... didn't do at all well.
bigjonnyauk Posted 11 September 2007 Posted 11 September 2007 some of these names are utter shite this is really becoming stupid now we need someone with a name experience not just on the football side but handling biggername players milan seems to want to bring in any of the following would do me nicely ruud gullit kevin keegan brian little + stevie walsh

How many more players do you want? Don't you think it would be nice if someone made the current lot play and then saw what else might actually be needed? There are already far too many players in the mix at it is.
Raj Posted 11 September 2007 Posted 11 September 2007 Have we signed Jean Tigana Yet??? And what about the man with the sexy voice at Tottenham....Mr Jol.....i like him too, have they sacked him

I`ll take as many as possible to get promotion. This season is without doubt one of the best chances we have on promotion in years and if that means that we can get towards the play-off positions by January and then give the club another injection with 4 or 5 signings, then so be it. We still have some crap on the books that needs to go anyway but the main aim should be to have a real go at the Premiership. You suggesting that we don't need anymore signings basically is saying you are 100% happy with what you have. I am saying that there is always room for improvement and whoever the new manager is, he will not like what he sees 100% and will make changes. By the way, as someone who is so-anti Milan Mandaric, what do you care at how much it costs him on player purchases, wages and signing-on fees in his journey in bringing success to the club??! Surely all that it does is actually cut into his potential profits when we go up and when he sells? MM is here, warts and all and its about time people like yourself stopped this integrity act and started to be prepared to expect what he is and what he can afford to bring. If that means 5 players then great.
The People's Hero Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 We want an insane, unheard of Eastern European muppet. Surely?
Tabou Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 The Merc reckon MM says warnock was never offered the job!!!! HAHAHA Is that egg on your face Mr. Warnock?
The People's Hero Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 The Merc reckon MM says warnock was never offered the job!!!!HAHAHA Is that egg on your face Mr. Warnock? I'll tell you what it isn't (allegedly), Milan's semen.
teblin Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 THE WRONG MAN Eat my goal! who's the right man though?

The People's Hero Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Seeing John Gregory's name in that article at all has just given me a horrible thought.
Wils Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 THE WRONG MANEat my goal! who's the right man though? Craig Levein.
He's not bald Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Glad it's not Warnock. Shi* I need to go and fish my ST back out of the canal!
teblin Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 I think younger manager who is in a job, with a director of football who is out of a job!
Bert Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 I think i'd rather have Micky Adams back than Tony Pulis, that's how mediocre Pulis is. Stoke fans would be rejoiceful if we took Pulis off their hands, like the Blackburn lot were when Newcastle inexplicably took Souness off them. There's a possibilty for everyone!!
Ric Flair Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 There's a possibilty for everyone!! I'd be relatively happy with him.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Souness would be another season-ticket-goes-in-the-bin one for me. Hate the bloke as much as people on here hate Warnock.

Mighty Muzzy Posted 12 September 2007 Posted 12 September 2007 Thank god it's not going to be Warnock!!!
