Matt Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 I'd suggest a boycott, but I know I have and many other already have our money invested in Season Tickets I know it'd be a case of cutting our noses off to spite our faces and it'd be hard and almost torture for most of us but if I hadn't already invested money in Leicester this season with a Season Ticket i'd suggest a boycott and not turn up, look at it this way, Milan's here to make money, Milan will make money through fans turning up at games, get the picture? Milan saved the club finacially but apart from that wish he'd piss off! (That is an instant reaction, I may sleep on it and take back that comment...doubt it though!)
SamL Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Plymouth away on saturday. We should all sing martin allens name throughout the match. Let our fooking chairman know what we think.
James_lcfc Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Im fookin furious about this! After saturdays game when he punched the air to the Kop, he became my hero.....I'm gutted
Granno Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 A boycott would indeed make you all feel better. But what about the lads, its punishing them by not going to the matches?
Leicester Lass Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Vocal protest is the way forward - just a shame there isn't a home game for a fortnight.
craigymc8 Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE SING MARTIN ALLENS NAME THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE GAME ON SATURDAY. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED EVERYTHING HE WAS DOING FOR OUR CLUB.
MBK Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 If anyone thinks MM is sentimental about the club is wrong, but money yes. That is why fans must abstain from games. This might affect the team but I firmly believe that with MA back we'd win more points than with anyone else at the helm.
Simi Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Plymouth was going to look like a boycott anyway

Correct I mean as I said originally it'll be cutting our nose's off to spite our face's, it may be hard, it may/will fuk the club up even more, and it will effect the players but Milan is here for money, he is here for buisness, he is here to make a profit, without us he'll struggle to make the profit. He already has my money through me buying a season ticket so the idea is fooked for me...I could just not turn up but then the jokes on me!

This might affect the team but I firmly believe that with MA back we'd win more points than with anyone else at the helm. You don't honestly think MM will reinstall MA do you? Just take off the MA goggles and ask yourself how you were feling when MM took over the club? Would you want us back Before MM took over? Were you chering him at half time Y'day??? As City fans we need to keep an open mind to whats happened. If we fcuk off MM and he does decide to go,where will THAT leave us? I dont agree with MA being scaked BUT i still trust MM in the long run...i just pray im right
Flynny Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 If we're still pissed off at this in two weeks time, I'd suggest boycotting the QPR game. And congregating outside the stadium.
Lovejoy Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 I'd suggest a boycott, but I know I have and many other already have our money invested in Season Tickets I know it'd be a case of cutting our noses off to spite our faces and it'd be hard and almost torture for most of us but if I hadn't already invested money in Leicester this season with a Season Ticket i'd suggest a boycott and not turn up, look at it this way, Milan's here to make money, Milan will make money through fans turning up at games, get the picture? Abso-fooking-lutely home and away. You must not sleep this reaction off.
leicesterseddon Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Let's hear what Mandaric has to say before we get caught up in any of this.......and anyway, football is a fickle game and this could all turn out to be for the best that said, I'm disgusted at the timing of this amd generally angry with Milan...and I wish Martin the best in the future because he gave the club everything he had. at least we all now know why he was on the pitch before the watford game and was so animated when we won at the end...I think it's now obvious he knew beforehand and told the players before in the changing room. I think this is news that Milan just wants to run the club like a tyrant. I never agreed with the signing of allen in the first place because he was unproven and thus a bit of a gamble, but that makes it worse because milan should have brought in a quality manager (e.g Coleman) in the summer this is going to rebound very quickly on milan
Toby or not Toby Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 You don't honestly think MM will reinstall MA do you?Just take off the MA goggles and ask yourself how you were feling when MM took over the club? It may well come out and we could say well done Milan! All these stories about Murphy being linked with us, you dont think Allen said no and Mandaric wanted him do you?
Tommy G Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Boycotting won't do a thing im afraid, it will just make the players sink to a lower morale than they are already experiencing
Durnerz Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 The team need us now more than anything, they have been shaken up by losing a team mate to a hospital bed and a manager through an injustice. Quit thinking of yourself by organising a Boycott against the man who saved us from doing a Leeds. Like him or not he's the man who has provided these players, it doesn't make him right but think of the team now.
ibbosuk Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 I'd suggest a boycott, but I know I have and many other already have our money invested in Season Tickets I know it'd be a case of cutting our noses off to spite our faces and it'd be hard and almost torture for most of us but if I hadn't already invested money in Leicester this season with a Season Ticket i'd suggest a boycott and not turn up, look at it this way, Milan's here to make money, Milan will make money through fans turning up at games, get the picture? Yerr I think you should piss off...errr boycott I mean (out of sight is out of mind  )
leicesterseddon Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Oh, and by the way, whatever happens boycotting is NOT an option. supporters go to games to support the team and club as a whole and I have never liked chairmen full stop. the players need to know they weren't to blame for this (which, let's face it, they weren't) and would be more likely to do well if greeted by a massive blue army at the next game (plymouth) singing their hearts out for the club. martin's gone and is never coming back and I'm angry with milan too. This is a bad moment for the club and the longer we draw it out the worse it will be for us long-term. BOYCOTTING IS NOT WHAT LEICESTER CITY DOES...WE'VE BEEN THROUGH ADMINISTRATION AND FOUR YEARS OF DROSS. THIS SEASON THINGS LOOK LIKE TURNING FOR THE BETTER....BOYCOTTING NEVER HELPS

I might even pay double for my ticket. Just to show my support, like?
TAFKA Castroneves Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 I might go to the QPR game to chant for the players and Martin Allen. I've got a feeling whoever is manager by then might be on the way to a verbal smashing. I can just see us loosing 2-0 and the abuse Roeder will get.
Chimp Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 Thing is, none of you know the reasons why MA walked... the rumours of him being an absolute **** and everyone in the club hating him could well turn out to have some truth to it. That'd be a serious egg on face situation for some of you. Calm down now.
BigGibbo Posted 29 August 2007 Posted 29 August 2007 I'd suggest a boycott, but I know I have and many other already have our money invested in Season Tickets I know it'd be a case of cutting our noses off to spite our faces and it'd be hard and almost torture for most of us but if I hadn't already invested money in Leicester this season with a Season Ticket i'd suggest a boycott and not turn up, look at it this way, Milan's here to make money, Milan will make money through fans turning up at games, get the picture? (That is an instant reaction, I may sleep on it and take back that comment...doubt it though!) yeah ive invested heavily in this season so however p!ssed off i am now im not burning any bridges or depriving myself of my beloved leicester city. im now looking forward & trying to envisage what the best possible outcome can be, short of o'neil coming back from villa in time to sign two good wingers & take the league by storm i aint sure
