Geo V Posted 7 September 2007 Posted 7 September 2007 Plenty. I have a big old body and it takes plenty of time to do the rounds before it registers. Also, years of practice has made me almost immune from getting properly wank**ed although I have a switch inside that I can hit when I know that I am on the verge of doing something to embarrasing so put that last shot and beer down. Lightweights are a must when going out as you always need to have someone to laugh at
Unabomber Posted 7 September 2007 Posted 7 September 2007 Takes too much for me, I have the same problem with feeling immune from the effects, quite annoying sometimes as it can lead to an expensive night out

Guest Posted 7 September 2007 Posted 7 September 2007 I only have to sniff alcohol to get pissed. That's why I never drink the stuff.
Koke Posted 7 September 2007 Posted 7 September 2007 I only have to sniff alcohol to get pissed. That's why I never drink the stuff. Same boat as you Lisa. I once sniffed some alcohol - I was falling into walls and shit. I never came near of that stuff again.
stez Posted 7 September 2007 Posted 7 September 2007 it used to take loads, nower days though i feel woozy after 1 skol.

Guest Posted 7 September 2007 Posted 7 September 2007 Please, drink responsibly. Do you mean "don't spill any"?
Nationwider Posted 7 September 2007 Posted 7 September 2007 Do you mean "don't spill any"? Yup. ...and also "it's nice to have your glass topped up without being asked"
Guest Posted 7 September 2007 Posted 7 September 2007 Yup. ...and also "it's nice to have your glass topped up without being asked" Yeah, I like that one. Bit of a bummer when I'm upstairs, and he's downstairs....
Nationwider Posted 7 September 2007 Posted 7 September 2007 Yeah, I like that one. Bit of a bummer when I'm upstairs, and he's downstairs.... *contemplates dubious sexual reference* *thinks better of it* A length of hosepipe and a bicycle pump?
AoWW Posted 8 September 2007 Posted 8 September 2007 Can drink spirits no problem - takes alot for me to actually be pissed, let alone wankered. Wine - hmm, seems to depend. If I drink the best part of a bottle, I know about it. Lager / Beer / Cider etc - utter lightweight and embarrasingly cheap date. 1/2 a pint and I'm well on the way, 1 pint and I've pretty much gone!
davieG Posted 8 September 2007 Posted 8 September 2007 Yeah, I like that one. Phube Posted 8 September 2007 Posted 8 September 2007 In my Uni days it was ~7-8 pints. Now about 5 will do it. But wine I need about 1 1/2 bottles!! Most I ever had was on my 21st, tried to get to 21 units, managed by 11pm... kept drinking and still don't remember anything from 11:30pm until the morning!!!!
Zingari Posted 8 September 2007 Posted 8 September 2007 i can't remember the last time i got drunk it was probably last night , i just can't remember
Tommy G Posted 8 September 2007 Posted 8 September 2007 I think its down to your build and drinking experience that depends how quickly/how much it takes to get w***ered. I would love to be a lightweight, means a cheaper night out
Floating Fox Posted 8 September 2007 Posted 8 September 2007 Weak, Was far too sober last night. Had a good 7ish, Damo (FilbertWay) was completly wankered though, so ask him
Simi Posted 8 September 2007 Posted 8 September 2007 About 6 beers I reckon. (quite quickly though) Seem to take spirits quite well though.
Micky Ruddle Posted 8 September 2007 Posted 8 September 2007 For 'Number 1'...2 cans and you are tipsy Was funny watching you last night at the party.
Unabomber Posted 8 September 2007 Posted 8 September 2007 Takes too much for me, I have the same problem with feeling immune from the effects, quite annoying sometimes as it can lead to an expensive night out Well that theory went out of the window last night, maybe it doesn't take much after all.

Takes eight pints before I am warmed up.
Nod.E Posted 6 November 2007 Author Posted 6 November 2007 For 'Number 1'...2 cans and you are tipsy Was funny watching you last night at the party. lmao when was that? Takes me about 4. Kinda light but hey its cheaper
Tabou Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 I can genuinly drink 14 pints of larger, and be coherant, and hold a conversation, and appear totally sober. I can genuinly drink 10 Gin & Tonics, and be coherant, and hold a conversation, and appear totally sober. HOWEVERRRR 3 pints of larger + 2 Small G&T and im hammered! I honestly do not understand it!
