Its like all firms operate on an automated list of replies.

Looking at office work for next year as I've heard thats quite easy to get a job in, in comparison to others.

Not how to go about it though

Play up any IT skills, and by that I mean MS Office stuff. Think of anything has involved any kind of organisation, and refer to everyone you will potentially deal with as a "customer"; that way if you have any retail experience, you can adapt what you have done and learnt.

Despite what someone once posted on here, try the agencies; as I said earlier, you may not have worked in an office yet, but you may well have transferable skills. My first admin role was through an agency, so not having experience in office work shouldn't go against you.

I also hasten to add, you might be cheaper too.
