Churchill Posted 15 September 2007 Posted 15 September 2007 I sat in the Kop today and i must say it was poor we was drawing 0-0 we really need to push the team on i would understand if we was 3-0 down but it was 0-0 very dissapointed TBH
Stevosevic Posted 15 September 2007 Posted 15 September 2007 To be honest, the atmosphere is crap 98% of the time.

Heard lots of moaning, booing. Not impressed.
Churchill Posted 15 September 2007 Author Posted 15 September 2007 Yeah watford was brilliant could not of been better but today from the word go it was quiet i was trying to get chants going but no one botherd except for the odd people ..... we only got singing loudly just before the peno

The overzealous stewarding is really starting to grate on me now. Everytime I stand up when we're attacking I get a gorm in a jacket looking at me like I'm about to crowd surf across the Kop.
Churchill Posted 15 September 2007 Author Posted 15 September 2007 yeah but i sat in the kop last season but then moved to N block but i think the kop is much better than last season

Trumpet Posted 15 September 2007 Posted 15 September 2007 I was tired. The performance didnt help me.
Simi Posted 15 September 2007 Posted 15 September 2007 But surely you are I suppose it would be fun, but I'd get about 5 seats down and hit a load of empty chairs.

willy37 Posted 15 September 2007 Posted 15 September 2007 atmosphere was pathetic. i dont understand what is difficult about standing up and singing to get behind the team. where theres 10/ 15 people max singing at the back of the kop it just sounds and feels stupid. we have proved how much noise we can make but the majority of city fans would rather sit there and moan
Wooly Posted 15 September 2007 Posted 15 September 2007 The atmosphere is ALWAYS shit. No need to post another thread about it.
Tevez Posted 15 September 2007 Posted 15 September 2007 The Kop vs Watford was fooking class, but today was poor.
Churchill Posted 15 September 2007 Author Posted 15 September 2007 yea i agree all i heard from behind me was moan moan moan and more moaning .... i am not the biggest fan of gary megson but if we want to get any where we have to back him and the team do you agree ?
Jimmy Posted 15 September 2007 Posted 15 September 2007 The Kop vs Watford was fooking class, but today was poor. from where i was the kop and L1 put in about as much effort as Levi did, didnt see much coming from L1 apart from when the drummer got going
Tommeh Posted 15 September 2007 Posted 15 September 2007 from where i was the kop and L1 put in about as much effort as Levi did, didnt see much coming from L1 apart from when the drummer got going L1's usually good when the away support is, the away support wasn't thus not many songs. I know its pretty sad always throwing chants at eachother but thats the way it is over there. 1st 10 mins were ok, then 15 mins either side of the goal also but once they scored all was silent, again.
Bluefoxtim Posted 15 September 2007 Posted 15 September 2007 To be fair, I wasn't really in the mood to make any noise when all I was watching was high balls being sprayed around the park - hardly inspiring.

Just hope come Tuesday when Megson picks the Team for the 1st time we play a full stregnth side as he sees it, i dont was to see Kenton, Newton and alike just because its the League Cup (maybe play Kaebi and Chambers). We are not a Top 4 prem club and a good cup run could help build the confidence of the players that would hopefully help the league form
Churchill Posted 15 September 2007 Author Posted 15 September 2007 yea but should still sing about your club if the players aint playing well then dont sing there names sing about the club
Jimmy Posted 15 September 2007 Posted 15 September 2007 yea but should still sing about your club if the players aint playing well then dont sing there names sing about the club fook off 3/4 years of shit means people become lethargic and go more in hope then expectation, besides they are supposed do something that gets the crowd going then we take it from there and drive them on even more. we don't need to see Man Utd Esq. football but we need to see something that gets us excited other wise its too depressing.
purpleronnie Posted 15 September 2007 Posted 15 September 2007 To be fair, I wasn't really in the mood to make any noise when all I was watching was high balls being sprayed around the park - hardly inspiring. You should be inspired by being a fan and encouraging your team no matter how they are playing.

David Guiza Posted 15 September 2007 Posted 15 September 2007 qpr were hardly the loudest fans either but still
PAULCFC Posted 16 September 2007 Posted 16 September 2007 Atmosphere was crap in the kop,but it's not suprising with all thats gone on in the last couple of weeks. There were a few half hearted chants of Gary Megsons blue and white army, but i don't know about anyone else on here.I just couldn't bring myself to join in.....In the same way as i couldn't with Kelly(last season) or Levien towards the end!Hope Megson has me singing his name in a month.
Geo V Posted 16 September 2007 Posted 16 September 2007 Today was poor. Im not sure how many turned up but it didn't seem that many. It was a dodgy atmosphere from the get-go with the odd prat booing Megson before a ball was kicked (or was it booing MM??). Anyway, it didn't get much better but a lot of it was understandable today after the goings on of the last 2 weeks.
