Joe. Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 I think most of us knew Clemence would be a great player for us this season. He's certainly proved us right. His performances this season have been top notch, and he leads the team by great example. He's the type of player who can take a game by the scruff of the neck and change it around instantly. Last night's heroics just showed this.

Maybes Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 I was absolutely thrilled when we signed him.I believe Bruce doubted he could do a job in the Premiership. I wouldn't be so sure to be honest as he was OUTSTANDING for Brum last year, everytime I saw him. Quite honestly, I don't think we've been this strong in the middle of the park for years. Would love to see Ferreira and Ka'ebi on the wings as once we see genuine movement down the flanks, it gives the boys in the middle a license to spray it about a bit. I would also enjoy that too. Mouth watering prospect.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 19 September 2007 Posted 19 September 2007 Clem is our best midfielder since the lennon/izzet/savage days by some margin. Solid and reliable, certainly a cut above the rest in this division and probably unlucky (for him/ lucky for us!) to be playing at this level.

He's got everything a good central midfielder needs for this level and more. As Fez said, his celebration last night was quality. He certainly showed a lot of passion and celerbrated like it meant a lot to him and also the team. I just hope his partnership with Weso is broken for long.
