JoeyB Posted 26 September 2007 Posted 26 September 2007 Hughes, douglas, maybury didnt get played!I for one don't like megson! Never have done and never will, but for the sake of Leicester City will get behind the team, because as a fan of the club i was us to succeed! We have a squad capable of getting promotion, and a manager who can get promotion, but that means playing scrappy football and defending 1-0 wins, which is something Leicester can't do! If we are going to succeed i feel that we need a manager who can produce the football we all want and the club needs to succeed! But as I said i will get behind the players and the club! not Mego I guess i shall eat my own words! But what if they dont taste nice?
skegness fox Posted 26 September 2007 Posted 26 September 2007 Coming on the train on saturday, wheres the best place for a few pre match beers these days

filbert way=home Posted 26 September 2007 Posted 26 September 2007 wats the point in any of us saying we dont lik megson . we dnt no him i thnk we shud giv him a chance at some of us will the way milan is going if he loses agen he'll be out
FilboFox Posted 26 September 2007 Posted 26 September 2007 Two wins, a draw and a dissapointing loss from his first 4 games in charge including a battling win over Aston Villa is great stuff!
Geo V Posted 26 September 2007 Posted 26 September 2007 5 hours ago we expected a defeat, some thought a heavy one and this game against Stoke would see us going into the game with little confidence and a feeling of doom and gloom. Now, I for one am really looking forward to it despite not being able to be there myself. We should be buzzing surely??!! One thing though is I expect a few changes. Megson said this tonight.... "The biggest worry I have got now is how much that has taken out of us head of the Stoke game." Hopefully he`ll change the system to a more attack minded one and rest the likes of McAuley and Stearman and go for something like... Fulop Chambers Kisnorbo N`Gotty MattockKaebi Kish Clem FerrieraFryatt Hume We should attack more at home as teams will come with a more defensive set-up so we`ll need cleverer players to break down the opposition. I`d be shocked if we played 3 centre halves at home thats for sure!
FilboFox Posted 26 September 2007 Posted 26 September 2007 All they have to do is play a maximum of three times a week and they complain... if I was paid what they are to do as little as they do I'd be over the ****ing moon!
filbert way=home Posted 26 September 2007 Posted 26 September 2007 wat i hate about leicester tho is we always raise our game for teams lik villa tonight before the match i thought we would win we always give a good accont of ourselfs but we can never carry it on into the leage can we . i dnot think where goin to win at the weekend and if we dont it will b a disaster. we need to win i know its early days in the season but we cant afford to lose more points in my opinion .

The season has already started to go downhill in the league. We've dropped soooooo many points and have only 1 win so far... its not looking good. We need a MAJOR turn around if we are to reach the play-offs... hopefully this was it... beating a Premiership team to show that we COULD play in that league!
filbert way=home Posted 27 September 2007 Posted 27 September 2007 i dont know if we could . i think if we went up we would need to spend money anyway and we need to get a few more boys with expeirance . What do you think of the hasselbank sagga ??
Bert Posted 27 September 2007 Posted 27 September 2007 It's gonna be hard for him to drop any of the starting defenders from tonight.

We need a MAJOR turn around if we are to reach the play-offs... hopefully this was it... beating a Premiership team to show that we COULD play in that league! Look at the league table mate regarding the points tally(s). http://www.skysports.com/football/match_fa...2846750,00.html So many draws that a couple of wins and anyone is back in the mix. Its sometimes strange to think that sides like Sheff U who spent quite a few quid and I thought were doing OK are in fact just a point ahead of us and we have a game in hand. Covscum who were top not so long ago would be within two points of us if we won that game in hand. Even Wolves are only 4 points ahead of us and again we have a game in hand. Its way too early to think that we need some monumental run tobe amongst the top part of the league. Its only a win or two away due to everyone beating each other or drawing one another.
STUHILL Posted 27 September 2007 Posted 27 September 2007 We have to show more attacking threat in this game! I don't care what ppl say, we were very lucky to score against Villa. Usually you have to create a lot more before you score any goals. So hopefully Megson only went ultra defensive as it was a Prem side, but if he does the same against SToke on sat, then god help us!!
sdb Posted 27 September 2007 Posted 27 September 2007 stoke are good and very physical which could be of concern seeing as we wont be that fresh. keeping 3 at the back would be wise as they've 2 strong strikers. lawrence will need watching but if we get a bit of pace at them (kaebi/dj) we should make some chances. 1-1 i predict
Ric Flair Posted 27 September 2007 Posted 27 September 2007 Big game on Saturday, we need 3 points to get back in to the mix of things. Especially with Wolves on Tuesday at home, we now have a chance of getting a good couple of results behind us and pushing on. I hope Megson goes out with the intent of properly winning a football match and not snatching it.
Manwell Pablo Posted 27 September 2007 Posted 27 September 2007 Only one thing is for certain on Saturday, that cretin Fuller will score. In fact I might put money on it.
Koke Posted 27 September 2007 Posted 27 September 2007 Will be interesting to see what line-up he goes for on Saturday.
WetFlannel Posted 27 September 2007 Posted 27 September 2007 tbh i think this will be a draw as stoke have a very good team. However, if one team was going to win id say us as theyve sold alot of players... 1 - 1 Campbell and Parkin to score - maybe we can just sneak it
David O'Leary Posted 27 September 2007 Posted 27 September 2007 Ah...Well my friend...it was against Pakistan and ..... Go on.............
Joe. Posted 27 September 2007 Posted 27 September 2007 Not really sure what to predict for this one We're coming off the back of a great win, but in typical Leicester style we'll probably go and put in a shoddy performance against Stoke. Hopefully Megson gets his team selection right, and then we might be onto something. Oh, and I think Ricardo Fuller needs to be treble marked just so the bastard doesn't score.
Raj Posted 28 September 2007 Posted 28 September 2007 Go on............. Well my friend...Tis was the Final of the Inaugral 20/20 World Cup v arch rivals Pakist..... :D WE MUST BEAT STOKE! AND STOP USING CAPITAL LETTERS!
The_Persian Posted 28 September 2007 Posted 28 September 2007 Any chance on hoping that Kaebi gets some playing time?
