SOCCERROO FOX Posted 2 October 2007 Posted 2 October 2007 Don't know what to make of all this MDV seems to be a hell of a lot better than cort at the momment
The People's Hero Posted 2 October 2007 Posted 2 October 2007 Should have sent Sappleton - see how he gets on in League One.Some benefit to the club then. Either that or offer them McKay or perhaps even Cort - get him a bit fitter.Should have sent Sappleton - see how he gets on in League One.Some benefit to the club then. Manwell Pablo Posted 2 October 2007 Posted 2 October 2007 Still of the opinion we shouldn't be letting Dennis have any of our players.
The People's Hero Posted 2 October 2007 Posted 2 October 2007 Still of the opinion we shouldn't be letting Dennis have any of our players. I'd gladly give them Elvis.
Jimmy Posted 2 October 2007 Posted 2 October 2007 Still of the opinion we shouldn't be letting Dennis have any of our players. except for an extortionate fee on a permanent basis
Kent Fox Posted 2 October 2007 Posted 2 October 2007 I had forgotten about Elvis. Why didn't we send him? He is clearly not in anybody's plans right now, so why didn't he go? Anyone?
Manwell Pablo Posted 2 October 2007 Posted 2 October 2007 I had forgotten about Elvis. Why didn't we send him? He is clearly not in anybody's plans right now, so why didn't he go? Anyone? Not even Dens that desperate.
Kent Fox Posted 2 October 2007 Posted 2 October 2007 Not even Dens that desperate. I am confused here. MDV has been playing ok in an ok team. Elvis isn't playing. So is this a case of GM telling him to go as he won't feature in the 1st team anymore? Another dent to his confidence. Yet, Elvis is a complete waste of money as far as contribution to the team goes. Unless GM has told him he'll play a part...

The People's Hero Posted 2 October 2007 Posted 2 October 2007 Wise probabley didn't want Elvis. Beggars can't be choosers.
samlcfc1 Posted 2 October 2007 Posted 2 October 2007 i feel quite sorry for him, hed just proved himself to martin allen and looked to be playing with confidence, then megson came and well ..... poor old mark
Kent Fox Posted 2 October 2007 Posted 2 October 2007 Beggars can't be choosers. Exactly! So we get stuck with a useless, unplayed Elvis and that fcukwit gets an improv(ed)ing MDV. Where is the fecking logic in that?
Fez of Mahrez Posted 3 October 2007 Posted 3 October 2007 Started last night. Mixed opinions here; http://www.waccoe.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=105459
Daggers Posted 3 October 2007 Posted 3 October 2007 Started last night. Mixed opinions here;http://www.waccoe.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=105459 I wonder if he'll come back? Pretty certain he won't want to.

Geo V Posted 3 October 2007 Posted 3 October 2007 He was one booking away from having the perfect debut.
dan4lcfc Posted 3 October 2007 Posted 3 October 2007 i can't believe they have loaned MDV he has been easily better than Carl Cort and we loaned him to leeds anybody but them, unless there after one of leeds players. but still leeds im really annoyed with that
AyewJoking Posted 3 October 2007 Posted 3 October 2007 "de vries had decent control and could hold the ball up. poor finishing though" Sounds familiar. Decent control though????????
josedob Posted 3 October 2007 Posted 3 October 2007 .....while on the topic of Leeds. Bit of a cheeky headline, isn't it? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ted/7026474.stm FA to charge Wise and probe ref
TheBlinding Posted 6 October 2007 Posted 6 October 2007 88:55 GOAL - Mark De VriesLeeds 1 - Yeovil 0 Headed goal by Mark De Vries (Leeds) (bottom-left of goal) from right side of penalty area (12 yards).Leeds 1-0 Yeovil. Assist (cross) by Jonathan Douglas (Leeds) from left wing.
ASH17LCFC Posted 6 October 2007 Posted 6 October 2007 I did laugh when it came up on skysportsnews, soon has it said leeds had scored ... Thought De Vries you legend.
Geo V Posted 6 October 2007 Posted 6 October 2007 Shocking stuff. I wont mind if he impresses enough to secure a permanent deal and finally get off our wage bill but if this deal is seemingly just to help them out of a crisis, then our hierachy needs shooting. I cant believe he is helping them up the league whilst we still pay the majority of his wage.
Joe. Posted 6 October 2007 Posted 6 October 2007  I'm pleased for the big man. Hope he shows Megson he was wrong to ship him out on loan.
