Milans Foxes Posted 17 October 2007 Posted 17 October 2007 If Meggers is going to be continuing with 3-5-2 formation, I've got a feeling that Kaebi may be in line for a start or at least a place on the bench on Saturday. With Mcauley set to start for N. Ireland in Sweden tonight, you have to wonder whether he'll be ready for 90 mins on Saturday. Kaebi has been left out of the reserves team tonight and so will be in the squad on Saturday. In today's mercury, Stearman is talking about the tiring work at right-wing back. Maybe, he could be in line for a rest or a move to centre-back if Mcauley is fit, therefore paving the way for Kaebi to come in at wing-back. I'm thinking the team will be something like this: Fulop Sheehan N'Gotty Kisnorbo Mcauley (Stearman if Mcauley is not fit) Stearman (Kaebi if Mcauley is not fit) Clemence Chambers King/Newton Fryatt Hume Subs: Hendo Campbell Cort Kishishev/King/Newton Kaebi A great chance for Kaebi to prove himself whether starting or coming on as a sub. And with the game on TV, all of us can get a proper idea of how good (or bad) he actually is.

Mark Posted 17 October 2007 Posted 17 October 2007 Whens Weso back people? Now, available for Saturday.

dandannieldanok Posted 17 October 2007 Posted 17 October 2007 I would replace King with Clemence but otherwise stay unchanged from the Wednesday game.

Milans Foxes Posted 17 October 2007 Author Posted 17 October 2007 Megson would be crazy to pick Kaebi for the first team in his current form. Sorry, but he hasn't really played in the first team yet. It sounded like the guy started off really brightly in the reserves. The poor bloke was probably just frustrated at playing well and still not being picked and has maybe lost his motivation for the last couple of games. I just hope he is given a chance so we can all judge him on first team football. Heres hoping he'll prove you and any other doubters wrong! Didn't know Weso was back in contention, would swap him with either King or Newton.
Simi Posted 17 October 2007 Posted 17 October 2007 Fulop N Gotty Kisnorbo McAuley Stearman Sheehan Newton King Clemence Fryatt Hume That's what I think we will see.
Thracian Posted 17 October 2007 Posted 17 October 2007 I still don't know who our strikers should be cos I'd like two new ones. And with King being out and Weso still less than fit I despair. I'll give it more thought later.
Kirky Posted 17 October 2007 Posted 17 October 2007 FulopN Gotty Kisnorbo McAuley Stearman Sheehan Newton King Clemence Fryatt Hume That's what I think we will see. King got injured training with Wales so we won't see him Leicester City’s Andy King has been ruled out of Wales’ under 21 clash with Malta tonight (Wednesday) after picking up a hip injury in training. The 18-year-old former Furze Platt schoolboy had been drafted into the squad after impressing with a series of tenacious performances for Gary Megson’s side. But King picked up an injury on Tuesday, and was driven back to Leicester last night, to receive treatment ahead of the club’s trip to S****horpe. However King is a doubt for the game, and could be out for at least a week.

Maybe Hume will drop into midfield and Campbell and Fryatt, or sadly, Cort and Fryatt. Who are without a doubt a poor pairing.

Nah, Hume and Fryatt is the way Forward in this formation, I thought they looked dangerous in patches against Wednesday.

So you'd throw in Weso, who's short of match practice? Or maybe Chambers or Kish. Just interested to get your opinion. I'd go for.. Hume Kish Clemence I reckon we might get... Newton Kish Clemence
SamL Posted 17 October 2007 Posted 17 October 2007 Looks like Kaebi will at very least be on the bench for scunny as he's not included in the reserves tonight.
Master Fox Posted 17 October 2007 Posted 17 October 2007 FulopN Gotty Kisnorbo McAuley Stearman Sheehan Newton King Clemence Fryatt Hume That's what I think we will see. I'd go with that but I have Campbell instead of Fryatt or Hume.

Weso, Clemo, And we're going to need a baby sitter for Sheehan, so Chambo.

He's being out for 6 weeks and never had the best of luck with injuries, depends how desperate we are I suppose.
Thracian Posted 17 October 2007 Posted 17 October 2007 Looks like Kaebi will at very least be on the bench for scunny as he's not included in the reserves tonight. Politics then cos it has nothing to do with the football he's been producing. Unless he's been electric in training!

brookfox Posted 17 October 2007 Posted 17 October 2007 FulopChambers N'Gotty Kisnorbo McAuley Sheehan/Mattock Hume Clemence Weso Campbell Fryatt I'd be happy with that. Only concern looking through it would be the lack of height for defending (and attacking!) set pieces and during open play. In summary, it's a bit short!
mancunianfox Posted 17 October 2007 Posted 17 October 2007 Fulop Chambers N'Gotty McAuley Kisnorbo Sheehan Clemence Kishishev Newton Fryatt Hume Bench: Henderson, Stearman, Wesolowski, Cort, Campbell
Brainy Posted 17 October 2007 Posted 17 October 2007 Why are some people including Kaebi on the subs bench? Has something been said or are we just being optimistic?
