More than that - it's laughable. This is not a knee-jerk response, this is the culmination of two back2back season tickets based on false promises and false hope. I was never going to slate the club at the beginning of the season and only a broken heating system, a non-attending heating engineer and a dog with diarrhea prevented me from suffering tonight first hand - but I was empathetically there. We have achieved nothing of note under Mandaric and are as badly off on the pitch as we were without him. Behind the scenes, we are on a more professional footing and yet on the pitch and in the back-room we are pathetic. Money has been and continues to be thrown away, the squad is paper-thin with regards quality and we have even less in the way of tactical nous. Players are not stepping up to the plate, like last season - this is their responsibility, but more than that it indicates a lack of leadership within the club as a whole. We are, without question, a club in crisis. I care little if you take me seriously or not - your opinion is based on websites and traditional media coverage. I am evoking a cri de coeur of a supporter in pain, a fan that is being failed by his club...think back into the mists of time and maybe you'll remember what that is all about.

Most of us could see it ending like this, yet he still went ahead and gave the job to Megson. Don't let Mandaric's millions fool you - he's achieved nothing here and we're in the same predicament as last year despite his promises. He got lucky at Pompey with Redknapp and even then nearly ****ed it up. I doubt he can pull it off again if this is anything to go by.

Sure the players were still shit then but MA somehow got them motivated, wanting to win and playing football. I think we would be way better off if we kept him. Give Megson the Barnsley, Chelsea n Colchester games, if he hasn't gone to Bolton by then. Stearman you are fooking shit! Get Kaebi right wing back. Totally change the team next game, Hellings, Ferraira, Kaebi, Hammond, Djezri, King, a load of academy players. Keep Fulop in goal, Kisnorbo, Mc Auely, CLemence if he's fit thats about it. Weso

The tactics are clearly wrong - playing 5-3-2 can work providing you push up the wing backs, we dont - I heard Walsh say that we were attacking and we had 6 players back marking one attacker, so we had 3 attacking against 9 - hardly the best way to score. We are losing a lot of the battle in midfield. Sounds like Clemence might be out for a few games again so we have hardly helped ourselves. I do think Mandaric has to take some of the responsibility for the problem as he appointed Megson and should have paid closer attention to some of our signings - hellings, Neilson ect. I would love to see Bolton sign Megson ASAP - I think that is our only hope of progressing in the near future. There has to be a quality manager out there that can get the players playing at their best every game - who? Good question. I would like to see Grayson given a chance he has done a lot at Blackpool and has got them to play well at a higher level so give him a chance.

There's something about our clubs recent history that's a circus and complete joke. From La Manga, to Taylor, to admin, to losing late goals, to recent manager turnover, to Allen, to 16 sumer signings, we're a ****ing joke. Can Megson turn it around in 3 or so weeks. Absolutely not. Is he the man to do it longer term. Maybe not. But without some stability we're just going to keep drifting and going further and further back until MM finds the next Redknapp. Megsons stuck with a load of poor summer signings and lack of quality which he can do nothing about really. He's got a way he wants to play and hasn't got the squad to do that. My personal view is he deserves until the end of the season to a) work with the squad in Jan and b) turn his squad into a team. Will the transition of our club be a bit painful to watch, probably. But without that stability we're going nowhere.
