Sods Posted 15 November 2007 Posted 15 November 2007 If it happens i will be Because that will mean two teams from the UK qualifing. Come on the Scots. And while your there come on isreal
David O'Leary Posted 15 November 2007 Posted 15 November 2007 Their fans have taken so much crap over the years, so I would like Scotland go through
Floating Fox Posted 15 November 2007 Posted 15 November 2007 Would be great to see them do it! Hampden will be rocking i tells ya!
Asha Posted 15 November 2007 Posted 15 November 2007 I went for jock strap option. What matters to me is that England and Latvia qualify, neither of which will.
DB11 Posted 15 November 2007 Posted 15 November 2007 At the end of the day they are a different country so I couldn't really care. Although them in Euro might be like Derby in the Prem :w00t:

They won't win it, but they're not going to be the whipping boys.
Brainy Posted 15 November 2007 Posted 15 November 2007 Not in my lifetime, in fact never [ 2 ] [14.29%] Who's my fellow Scotland hater then?
Bert Posted 15 November 2007 Posted 15 November 2007 I hope they do because they have deserved to. But then again, i hope they dont for these reasons. : They never want us to qualify, so why should we want them to? : We'll never hear the end of it from their fans. : If i cheer for them, i'll get told it's only 'cos England aint qualified. It'll be nice to have someone to kind of support there and representing the UK, ('cos i just cannot see England qualifying) and over the years i've always wanted home nations and ROI to do well, but that's before i was wise to the "home nations" hatred towards us. 1 more thing, people writing "for their fans" who gives a fook about their fans. Do they care about ours? Pfft, like hell do they.

Asha Posted 15 November 2007 Posted 15 November 2007 Apparently though...if none of the home nations qualify there will be a home nations championship arranged, better than nothing i guess...but if Scotland qualify that ideas screwed.
Joe. Posted 15 November 2007 Posted 15 November 2007 I don't care what they do if we don't qualify to be honest.
Durnerz Posted 15 November 2007 Posted 15 November 2007 Don't care, admire how they have got results in that group but like Bert says, they never give us any credit or want us to do well so why should we for them?
placidcasual Posted 15 November 2007 Posted 15 November 2007 As a wise man once said the Scots are the lowest of the fooking low, the scum of the earth, the most wretched, servile, miserable, pathetic trash that was ever shat into civilization......
Manwell Pablo Posted 15 November 2007 Posted 15 November 2007 I'd like them to qualify as it will add something to the tournament, at the moment looks like it's going to be sans England so having the Scots there will at least add a British infleunce and give us someone to get behind, or jeer at whatever. It will be better if they're there if we don't qualify. But then France or Italy not qualifying would be pretty shit for the tournament as well. so I dunno.
Lord Nibblington Posted 15 November 2007 Posted 15 November 2007 Don't care, admire how they have got results in that group but like Bert says, they never give us any credit or want us to do well so why should we for them? Generally agree, but... uhh... have I missed something the England side have done recently to, well, you know, actually deserve credit?
Darkzzz_ Posted 15 November 2007 Posted 15 November 2007 No chance.... Forza Italia!! Scotland are getting a little too over confident while the italians havent spoken.... Hoping Israel do us a favour aswell but i wont hold my breathe...
lookwhaticando Posted 15 November 2007 Posted 15 November 2007 Yes. The more home nations, the merrier... if England don't make it, then the Scots had better do... at least the UK will have some representation. It's not like Scotland wouldn't have deserved it, either, if they do make it... I'd be more than pleased for them to be there, with or without England being present.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 15 November 2007 Posted 15 November 2007 I want Scotland to qualify because it might force Brian Barwick into shock and he'd shoot himself (after firing McLaren). That's the dream...

Don't get me wrong they would have deserved it, but like i said, if we support Scotland, we'll be on "their bandwagon" if we'd have qualified and they didn't they would want us to crash and burn big style. I'll stick to supporting England i think. *Plus i gots Italian blood.

Raj Posted 15 November 2007 Posted 15 November 2007 I read somewhere(think it was teletext!) that the number 17 is bad luck for Italians. Some hotels dont have a Room 17 and some football teams omit the number 17 shirt. Scotland v Italy is on Nov 17th at 1700hrs!!!
