brookfox Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 When his QPR team played at the Walkers a couple of years ago they were the dirtiest bunch of cheats I've ever seen. Yeah, I remember that now! Boo to Holloway and his dirty cheating teams. (though if it's winning us games I don't care!)
Leonisco Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 Yeah, I remember that now! Boo to Holloway and his dirty cheating teams. (though if it's winning us games I don't care!) To be fair, from what I've heard Plymouth are playing some decent stuff at the moment, maybe he's changed his style since then.
CupidStunt Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 Ollie isnt leaving us. Cant believed a PA fan joined us to tell us that ...ollie can stay where he is,the guys a nutter
lcfc_jme Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 To be fair, from what I've heard Plymouth are playing some decent stuff at the moment, maybe he's changed his style since then. Plymouth have won the same amount of games at home since the beginning of October that we have in the entire calendar year (bear in mind they've only played 5 games at home since then, with 3 wins, 2 draws and 1 defeat). Their record at home before that period this season consisted purely of draws, so they've only lost once at home this season. 13 points in 8 games at home. Away from home, they've won 3 times, drawn twice and lost 3 times. 11 points in 8 games on their travels. Seems fairly consistent, home form is definitely on the up at the minute. 7th place in the league as well, could climb into the playoffs with a win.
Phil Bert Fox Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 Ollie isnt leaving us. We'll see Mr Pilgrim!!
lookwhaticando Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 I've decided that Holloway isn't too bad an option. At least he's not so shite as to be permanunemployable like Reid, for example. He's quite a character, and it'd be one less bogey team for us if we had him on our side. Just 22 other bogey teams to go.
davieG Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 I sincerely hope not! One of the worse games of cheating, faking injuries, time wasting I have ever seen at football match was QPR, managed by Holloway against Leicester. This what I wrote after the game QPR, if diving, cheating and play-acting is what you’ve sunk to in order to win a match then frankly you’ve reached the bottom of the cesspit of football. I’d be ashamed to be one of their supporters. Stan Bowles must be crying in his sleep. The Referee – should we call him that, inept, jobs worth that was suckered into ever trick that QPR could muster. Wasting more time on his own than QPR could’ve ever have dreamt of managing. When will referees realise that they are officiating what is supposed to be entertainment, if they are doing their job properly they should be anonymous, we don’t pay good money to watch them. Dismissals should be the last resort, not the first and not as a result of some playacting and bowing to the pressure of a bunch of players hell bent on ruining the game. If he were a relative or close friend of mine I’d tell him to pack it in.
General Smuts Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 I could get a record player and a generator, generate the music that makes you feel better ...
ohmy6od2 Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 As I posted yesterday the Holloway deal is far from done. The 2 clubs have agreed compensation, but Holloway is holding out for more money than MM is offering. If MM isn't willing to budge the deal will collapse. However MM has identified Holloway as the man he wants, so i'm sure an agreement will be made. If i'm honest, i'm not expecting a press conference until Tuesday - at the earliest, but with MM you never know.
Brainy Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 If i'm honest, i'm not expecting a press conference until Tuesday - at the earliest, but with MM you never know. Yeah, probably mid-December.

Milky Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 He's actually done a good job at Plymouth. They've been consistently in the top half over the last couple of seasons, and on a small budget.
PAFC Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 I told ya, we are keeping him. And you are supposed to be "better" than us. Yay for league positions.
Asha Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 I told ya, we are keeping him. And you are supposed to be "better" than us. Yay for league positions. YAY for having 4 being sponsored by a well-known, world-famous established business.... Ginters. Who the fook eats Pasties anyway? Also you stole our goal tune. Give it back. There's only one Chelsea Dagger.
sdb Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 Holloway's a decent manager but i think his plymouth bubble will burst soonish. He's certainly not a prem quality manager imo.

Topps Tiles are so brilliant
Joe. Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 Personally I wouldn't mind Holloway although I'd definitely prefer Tigana. And I don't believe Holloway's coming for a minute anyway.
Asha Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 Erm...you do know we're sponsored by Topps Tiles right? Yeah that was the idea. Clearly you know fook all, cause we have Good thing as our goal theme And also, on sponsorships ... Topps Tiles are so brilliant You had Chelsea Dagger at some point though right...
Brainy Posted 18 November 2007 Posted 18 November 2007 A few clubs have Chelsea Dagger as their goal tune, we probably stole it from somebody.
