He's not bald

The Holloway Bandwagon

I told ya, we are keeping him. And you are supposed to be "better" than us. Yay for league positions.

This could be the case, however as it stands your chairman as agreed to release him and has agreed a compensation package with us. The only way this deal will fall through is if MM wont pay holloway what he's asking for. I can't see this being the case, MM wants Holloway, so I think he'l do what he needs to, to secure his signature.

Clearly you know fook all, cause we have Good thing as our goal theme

And also, on sponsorships ... Topps Tiles are so brilliant ;)

Your redonred in disguise...come on admit it! :crylaugh:

Its not Holloway for sure. this guy says so

If this qoute had come from someone close to Holloway I would think it 'might' have some truth about it. This deal will be confidential, and I don't buy for one minute that Holloway would 'himself' say this to someone in the street.

Holloway isn't going to let on to ANYONE that he's close to a move here, other than those bound by the confidential agreement. All I expect to hear from Holloway is that he's happy at Plymouth bla bla bla, the usual shit that managers come out with when they are about to leave.

So are you Holloway's Dad, Brother, Sister, Aunt, Priest?

Sorry if I've missed it!

Neither.

It's no problem though, i'll post else where in future.

Why?

You implied only someone close to the deal would know anything, you seemed to be very sure that you have the facts so it was a polite question to you as to what your connection was?

He's not connected with Holloway, he broke the news about Megson leaving as well as I said a few days ago, I'm inclined to believe him.

Give him 2 minutes, and he will think it is Holloway.

:giggle: God im so not a comedian.

As per MM's comments - Any dealing with another club will remain confidential, so IMO only someone close to the deal will know. I am not in a position to say who my source is, but I will confirm they are associated with LCFC.

Holloway is hardly going to say to someone in the street that he's leaving, he will only reiterate whats already been in the papers, which is, he's ok at Plymouth, he has no intentions of leaving etc etc etc.

Thanks for the vote of confidence

I will however reiterate again, just to make it clear to everyone - Holloway is not a done deal. What is a done deal is the fact the clubs have agreed a compensation package and we have permission to talk to him. The only sticking point is the salary that has been offered to Holloway, which IMO will be sorted if MM wants him that much.

So to a cut a long story short, he is on his way here? If Holloway's salary is the only thing standing in the way, then sure its almost a done deal. Milan usually sort that out without problems. Unless Ollie is demanding something bang out of order which I doubt he does.

I just think the Holloway rumour is a non starter. It seems like he has found his little niche of a club, in his neck of the woods, who love and idolise his querky behaviour. I also read somewhere that he loves the area, his wife and kids are settled and he has only recently moved into a new house down there. Doesnt seem like a man planning to move in my opinion. The compensation agreed rumour sounds like complete rubbish to me. Your telling me that not one source from either club has leaked this story to the media or that no local reporters from either Plymouth or Leicester have got wind of this ? Look at the Wigan and Birmingham situation with Steve Bruce. You carnt keep these sort of approaches secret. It just doesnt happen ! I think if we had compensation agreed, we would of heard about it.

Dave Whelan has come out and spoke about who he wants from the start, that's up to him. MM has come out and said that any negotiations with another club would be kept confidential. It's one thing someone in the know telling a mate whats going on, to telling a national newspaper. I can assure you what I have posted is NOT rubbish.

Yeah, im sure the next Leicester manager is really top of their 'wanted story' list ....

Just moving on to the Tigana situation, he couldn't be bothered to meet MM in person. He sent his advisors. I think this is what put MM off of him.

if 'Stans the Man' then i'll back him 100%

just want it sorted now and whoever comes in needs time to get this club in order

he does seem to be a bit too much like Allen and, for the life of me, i can't see how him and Milan will get on :dunno:

but i do think the club needs a character and we've had had a long run of non personalities for too long

he seems to be an enthusiastic manager and hopefully some of it might rub off on some of the lethargic players that we've had to watch for what seems like ages.

tactically, i'm not too sure but Plymouth have done well and much of that is down to him

i know he's settled down the west country but this would be the biggest club he's managed by far and he may feel the opportunity may not come round again.

are you ready for the next chapter boys and girls?

Ohmy6od2 does seem to be a credible source, and Bob Hazell on TB also says the same thing about Holloway and he is also a great source.
