Manwell Pablo Posted 22 November 2007 Posted 22 November 2007 His reasons were that he wanted to go to a more "progressive club". Upset a few Wolves fans with that comment! Yes, a very good player for the CCC. So is Ivan Sproule on the opposite wing.............hope your full backs are quick! Although he is playing for Northern Ireland aginst Spain tonight, so maybe on the bench to start with on Saturday? McIndoe ripped us apart at the Walkers last season, he was one of many Wolves players who had a field day. I'd say our full backs have gone backwards in quality since last season if anything, certainly in defensive terms. I do think we're in for a hard afternoon on Saturday.

Stearman/Chambers are more authadox wing backs not full backs.

Fez of Mahrez Posted 22 November 2007 Posted 22 November 2007 James Chambers is as good a right back at this level as you'd get. Exactly.
Manwell Pablo Posted 22 November 2007 Posted 22 November 2007 James Chambers is as good a right back at this level as you'd get. Shame we don't play him there really.
Fox in a Box Posted 22 November 2007 Author Posted 22 November 2007 James Chambers is as good a right back at this level as you'd get. I dont think he's the full nine yards, but hey that my personal opinion, he aint bad but i have seen better, Philip Bardsley? Paul Robinson?
Head Honcho Posted 22 November 2007 Posted 22 November 2007 Ollie's first game ...................and back in his home town of Bristol! I think he turned down Bristol City as a kid
The Stig Posted 22 November 2007 Posted 22 November 2007 David Halliday was the last manager to win his first game in charge, in 1955. Will Olly repeat it on Saturday? Will he make wholesale changes to the team? What do the people of Foxestalk think?

The Stig Posted 22 November 2007 Posted 22 November 2007 Someone change that to Bristol City.Yes I'm being petulant, I don't care it annoys me. I sincerely appologise I'll change it!
The Stig Posted 22 November 2007 Posted 22 November 2007 I also have a positive feeling. All though my brian is telling me draw, and too be honest you shouldn't normally trust that so who knows what'll happen.
BigGibbo Posted 22 November 2007 Posted 22 November 2007 I also have a positive feeling. All though my brian is telling me draw, and too be honest you shouldn't normally trust that so who knows what'll happen. Don't listen to brian we will hit the ground running!
dandannieldanok Posted 23 November 2007 Posted 23 November 2007 DJ will play - he's a smashing player. I laughed when Ollie said that, in an earlier column for the bbc he criticised the signing.
Jimmy Posted 23 November 2007 Posted 23 November 2007 I laughed when Ollie said that, in an earlier column for the bbc he criticised the signing. he was probably saying what we all have, we paid too much to get him
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 23 November 2007 Posted 23 November 2007 I also have a positive feeling. All though my brian is telling me draw, and too be honest you shouldn't normally trust that so who knows what'll happen. Brian is an idiot. We'll lose 1-0..
Jimmy Posted 23 November 2007 Posted 23 November 2007 they are a good team coming off the back of getting spanked at Ipswich, close game and i think it'll be 2-2
MC Prussian Posted 23 November 2007 Posted 23 November 2007 We will win.I have foreseen it. To quote a famous singer/songwriter/drummer: "I can feel it in the air tonight..."
