David O'Leary Posted 30 November 2007 Posted 30 November 2007 Doubt very much I'll go to this. Went last lear and in all honesty it was the worst away game for atmsophere I've EVER been to even though we won and won in the last minute. The only singing was "jingle bells" outside the ground nothing during the game. Largely down to where we're situated. It's like the away fans being in our west stand, about 6 rows of sitting down in silence heaven. This combined with the fact its on sky and chrimbo is coming means it'll probably be the 2nd game I've missed this season. Why after all this am I still going and looking foward to it?
Matt Posted 30 November 2007 Posted 30 November 2007 I'm still tempted but people are rapidly putting my off the idea. I could afford to go and travel isn't a problem but may just keep the money in my back pocket instead...Not sure.

You should go mate you will only regret if you are watching on sky and we win and you werent there

I thought this, but if I sat and watched it on Sky when I knew I could be there I'd regret, even if we lost.
Alexikokopops Posted 30 November 2007 Posted 30 November 2007 Badge? I'm going back to Lincolnshire a couple of days before and I will've just got back from a ski tour I can't really afford.

Simi Posted 30 November 2007 Posted 30 November 2007 I was reading the match thread from this match the other week. Not sure why. It contained many Hammond rants, also a Cisono.

JoeyB Posted 2 December 2007 Posted 2 December 2007 Walkers you best go! Even though i wont be cuz im like flying back from chicargo that day!
Nath Posted 2 December 2007 Posted 2 December 2007 I hear Walkers might be making an appearance!!! So what is the campaign?
Trumpet Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 Ill be going. What times everyone getting the train?
James. Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 Is Walkers actually going to go to this one? Has he made any acknowledgement of the campaign? It took at least 30 seconds to update my signature. A small thank you for all our efforts wouldn't go amiss.
LE8Blue Posted 10 December 2007 Posted 10 December 2007 what stand we in ?? i swear whilst watching wolves vs burnley there was black netting behind the goal splitting the stand into two anyone know ?
Floating Fox Posted 10 December 2007 Posted 10 December 2007 what stand we in ??i swear whilst watching wolves vs burnley there was black netting behind the goal splitting the stand into two anyone know ? Yeah like I said, the 'smaller' clubs get half of the stand behind that goal which is their "kop" end (1500 Allocation)so it is an awesome away end but apparently we are a big club ( ) so we are down the side (3200 Allocation) and its the worst away end.
Nath Posted 11 December 2007 Posted 11 December 2007 We are definately the side stand, 'The Steve Bull Stand' Got my tickets, Row H Any know how many rows it is? I know there isn't many...
syston_fox Posted 12 December 2007 Posted 12 December 2007 Surley it cant be as lifeless as last season which really was a joke! I really hate going to wolves away but will be there again this season: 2005/06 - worst away game Ive ever seen. (0-0 and there was only about 2 shots on target all game) 2006/07 - worst away atmosphere Ive ever known. (even when we scored it wasnt done with any real celebration from the fans)
PAULCFC Posted 13 December 2007 Posted 13 December 2007 Anyone know what the parking's like round wolves?
SamL Posted 13 December 2007 Posted 13 December 2007 Anyone know what the parking's like round wolves? Theres an Asda right next to the ground so you could probably use that. Other than that, not really sure.
Koke Posted 15 December 2007 Posted 15 December 2007 After today's fiasco, I feel like not going to Wolves and rather sit in my comfort zone (my couch) and watch us get a good hiding.
