I take it you didn't go today?

With some people, paying to go and see football is a lot more than 'watching rubbish'

Yes, unfortunately I did watch this miserable bloody game today and yes I am a season ticket holder. Unlike the 10,000 or so that turned up with freebie tickets the other night.

Clearly you like wasting your money. I don't.

He wasnt good but he wasnt the worst. Everyone who sang 'get him off' is an idiot, i dont mind booing at the end of the game or whatever but singling out individual players is not on in my opinion. There were worse players out there than him today, Hume included.

Yeah, I clearly love wasting my money.

I love sitting there week in week out saying nothing, apart from the odd clap a good a pass.

You clearly have no idea about me personally, so let's not make assumptions that I love wasting my money every week. I find it frustrating yes, but I'd rather be at a football match than sat at home.

Shaun Newton is worse.

Best post all day he is shocking at least he is only on a 1 year contract

You did, however say that you don't mind as long as he tries. So you obviously dont mind paying to watch that shower of shite. Ill have your money.

I said theres not point slating him week in week out as the reason were not doing very well doesnt rest solely on his shoulders.

Martin Allen didnt sign Cort because he thought he was shit did he? he brought him in thinking he would do a job for us, obviously he isnt coming out on to the pitch thinking, i know, i will play crap today just to piss the fans off does he, he might not be the best option right now but for gods sake lets get behind him and the rest of um, just til January and then we will see who ollie brings in and see if if he brings a striker in better than Cort

The saviour.

Its his fault we are where we are now. A manager lives and dies by his signings and his were'nt good enough. Well done Milan for getting rid when you did.

To be fair though, the other blokes got a point. If hes old enough to be your dad, has a wife, kids a house etc. and his own money which could be spent on much more needed things and time spent elsewhere, it could be seen as a waste of time.

Whereas I have nothing better to do for an hour and a half on a Saturday afternoon.

i include myself in this as i dont have a season ticket, however i do attend matches regularly and get to the odd away game... just because we dont purchase a season ticket doesnt mean we like wasting our money. The fact he is putting money into your club and you slate him for that... take a look at yourself...

But theres no point singing his name when hes crap. Like I said, I'm getting everyone to sing my name at work when i cant be arsed.

Well if he doesn't want to waste his money why has he bought a season ticket? Looking at our home form over the past seasons, I sort of know what to expect now.

I'm not having him saying I love wasting my money though.

The same reason I got my season ticket this year after changing a shift at work so I could do so. The hope. The promise.

Wasn't he free???

Yeah I think so.

Still, he's hardly earning his wages here. If he wants to get anywhere with our fans he's got to start putting some effort in.

This is true, but a more accurate analysis is that he's completely fcuking useless.

The title of this thread is implying that the cost to acquire him has deteriorated in value.

So you would say today's performance was fantastic value for money then? If it wasn't a waste then what exactly was it? Investment in our club and players?? Er, I'd certainly consider that a waste of money so far. I also 'invest' through the Fox Lot too. Bargain!

Win, lose or draw, I expect the players to at least put in an effort but with the exception of perhaps Hume and King I saw very little of that going on today. And that's unforgivable.

I don't think you're following what I'm trying to say are you?

I accept today was poor. Believe me, I've seen a lot of shit this season, home and away. Preston away in the first half was dreadful. But I didn't come home and claim it was a waste of money, because I wanted to go. As have you when buying your season ticket.

I to expect the players to put in 100%, I can clearly see that they don't, but I don't moan that I'm wasting my money, because it's my choice.

Don't think you could do any better you tit. Get off his back.

Neither could possibly the 20,000 there today, but our we "supposed" to be professional footballers? :frusty:

It may be said a lot about a lot of players but the boys got to have something about him or he wouldnt be where he is now.

Point proven. My Appreciation thread for the big man himself was removed. Clearly the moderators realised it was just a waste of space.

DavieG, remove Carl Cort from my team please.

I was about to say this in the appreciation thread but it appears to have been deleted. I really hope he can turn it around and I think today I think he may realise that he needs to improve. Good luck to him in doing so.

did anyone listen to Holloway on radio leicester, he said exactly what i was thinking if you booed the players off be ashamed, would you want to play for a club where your own fans are booing you, Carl cort didnt do that bad today , and you use him as a scapegoat, he played better than hume today but you wouldnt boo hume cus hes a fans favourite , there human beings for god sake if they were world class players and do nothing wrong every week they would be playing for Man U or Madrid etc, there not are they, for gods sake get behind the players, a lad behind us jeered sappleton, jesus christ hes a kid doing us a job today cus we had no one else availible ?!? after the first minute a guy behind us jeered Stearman, saying he was out of position, god what did you want him to do dive in and pull him dyer down ? and maybe give away a pen, im thinking has this fan ever played full back before, im not the best full back in the world but i no how to play there and he did nothing wrong.

HIS COMMENTS WERE TRULY UNBELIEVEABLE!!

Yes I could not believe Holloway and what he was saying, he also said Cort had a bad knee and if he did'nt have a bad knee "Do you think he would be playing here"

Which begs the question if thats the reason he is so poor when ever he plays, WHY HAVE WE BOUGHT A CROCKED PLAYER ??
