Cobbo Posted 2 December 2007 Posted 2 December 2007 Oh please don't beat me up. You sound really tough and hard. You are the sort of fan who says nothing but gets mad inside because people are booing but you won't say nothing because you are scared. So you run home to your pc and start slagging fans off. Cort is shite end off ... He been match fit for games this season and still played shocking. What? Ran home to his PC at 2am? That's some mighty slow running Scow.
ASH17LCFC Posted 2 December 2007 Posted 2 December 2007 What? Ran home to his PC at 2am? That's some mighty slow running Scow. Are you join by the hip or something ? That cobbo sucks your arsehole too much. I think you two should fook off and go and support someone else to be honest. Nearly every fan in that stadium was booing Cort today ... Apart from you squares.

You think that players should be booed? Wanna tell me to fook off again?
ASH17LCFC Posted 2 December 2007 Posted 2 December 2007 Good name by the way, is it your own?You think that players should be booed? Wanna tell me to fook off again? No tis not my name and well done on pointing that out Players who play crap should be booed. Fook Off Next.
Raj Posted 2 December 2007 Posted 2 December 2007 No tis not my name and well done on pointing that out Players who play crap should be booed. Fook Off Next. Booing really doesn't help pal. Doesnt encourage the player and it wont benefit us,as fans. I can understand why people do,ecah to their own,but i think it has a negative effect on the whole team. Cort was carrying an injury. He didnt have to play, like others who may or may not be injured. But he did play,as he knew we'd have no other options. Ok he WAS crap, but other were too. We could have Booed the WHOLE fcuking team,....would THAT have helped us???
Thracian Posted 2 December 2007 Posted 2 December 2007 Never ever thought I would say this...and if Thracian spots this I will get a slating..but we need MDV back! He earned his chance at the beginning of the season but didn't quite take it. However it doesn't seem easy for any striker in our team but City suffered only one defeat in the six games MDV played, although four of those games were draws. It's just that, while I might be wrong, he doesn't seem likely to be the catalyst for change. And one goal in those 6 games is hardly momentous. To me the main problem would be that he'd slow the team some more - quite the opposite of what I think we need, which is greater pace. I also think we need to be fitter and to put defenders under far more serious pressure and or longer periods. At the moment only Sheehan is doing that. But if we can get genuine threats from other quarters, if will make if harder for the opposition simply to neutralise Sheehan as the means of stopping us scoring And if we did have those threats, of course, then someone like MDV might find it easier to score the goals he would need to be effective. Trouble is, of course, you can't play everyone and the time is fast arriving when decisions will have to be taken.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 2 December 2007 Posted 2 December 2007 If all our strikers are fit, Cort is FIFTH CHOICE for christ's sake. I wonder how many fans of teams in the Championship boo their fifth-choice striker, particularly after coming back from injury straight into a match due to an injury crisis at the club - just weeks after scoring a goal to put their team 3-2 up at Stamford Bridge? There's no perspective here at all.

Koke Posted 2 December 2007 Posted 2 December 2007 Carl Cort Elvis Hammond Mark de Vries What do they all have in common apart from being black and ugly as ever?
Father Ted Posted 2 December 2007 Posted 2 December 2007 To be honest, I feel that despite Carl Edward Richard Cort a little lacking in ability he still hasn't had the biggest bollocking to date. From what I can see Stearman deserves to be in the team. He has proved himself and actually has talent. People should just back off Stearman because he offers a lot attackingly aswell down the wings. Our only weak point in defence is Mcauley. He IS a liability. He has bad control, poor distribution, bad marking, he's slow and his only good point is that he can head the ball. We have an ex-France international who has played for Ac Milan on the bench who should be starting. The so called 'Captain Clemence' should be stripped of the captaincy and even his place in the team, the only problem is who for? Andy King, for me, just doesn't get involved enough and is a bit lightweight. Although this may come with experience and age. We already have Weso there so another central modfielder is key. And finally, Fryatt. He IS shocking. He has a poor goal-scoring rate, he is overweight, slow and has poor control. The only good thing that he does is to occasionally run after the ball when the ball is being passed around the opposition's back four just to make it look as though he is trying. Bring back De Vries. That's the end of my slating. You may agree and disagree but i really don't give a toss because I am fed up of watching the same old s*it at the Walkers.

Father Ted Posted 2 December 2007 Posted 2 December 2007 well who can you suggest over clemence and king? totally agree about fryatt but remember hes probably 4th striker now That's what I'm basically trying to say. We need a replacement there.

I hate booing players and agree with you on most things Raj but EVERY time i've seen him play he's done very little of worth, and he really doesn't care. It's clear, he can't be arsed and doesn't try.

It's clear, he can't be arsed and doesn't try. If Cort didnt play,Big Ricky may have had to start and that could have killed the lads confidence before he even gets a run in the team. Im not arguing that Cort is good (For the record i think hes' CRAP!) but it just doesnt help the whole vibe if we start Booing our own. BUT like ive sid,ive done it before and i can understand people doing it,but it aint good!
Thracian Posted 2 December 2007 Posted 2 December 2007 That's what I'm basically trying to say. We need a replacement there. Who do we need a replacement for? Weso, Clemence or King? I'd actually say that those three could form an excellent midfield given some time together. Weso has had an decent season apart from his injuries, I refuse to believe Clemence has become a lousy player cos he's hit a ropey patch and King has two wins, two draws and one defeat in his five starts so far having also scored a goal from midfield - a real collectors item at Leicester. There's no way King was going to be some fancy dan having just come into the team. He's feeling his way, building his confidence, adjusting to the pace, getting used to new team-mates and the feeling down at the club is that he's managed all that extremely well so far. Just as strikers find it hard to succeed without service, midfielders won't find it easy when they've no wingers to pass to, when there's little constructive movement from the strikers ahead of them and when the ball is hacked out of defence 10 feet above their heads. We HAVE to change the weak links before we start ditching people who can pass and move with the ball so that, eventually, the whole side moves quickly, in unison and with the same sense of purpose. So far we only ever field about four or five passers in our team at any time. We need 9 or 10 and a goalkeeper who's prepared to improve.
Tommy G Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 Cort is on par with MDV. Get rid of both in Jan
Sods Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 De Vries De Vries De Vries is on fire. Get him back.

teblin Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 Oh FFS, was he really THAT bad. No worse than some who seem to have the sun shining out of their backsides (according to some fans)
Manwell Pablo Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 No worse than some who seem to have the sun shining out of their backsides (according to some fans) I can imagine, from what I herd Kisnorbo and McAuley were absloutle dog crap.
mancunianfox Posted 3 December 2007 Posted 3 December 2007 Does anyone have the match stats? Holloway said we had 17 shots. If we did, you lot are a right load of moaning minnies.
