Porcupine Tree, Tool and to a lesser extent Dream Theater, Coheed & Cambria if you're into PF and progrock. Especially PT are very influenced by Pink Floyd and are British on top of that :P

Would second Dream Theatre, quality prog rock.

I've got their early stuff but haven't heard this one. You rate it highly?

It's a good album, if you like their other albums you'd probably like it. The Joke is the stand-out track on it for me.

I'd bet 10 euros on it that no-one else on here would have it in their top 10.

Aw, wow. Beyond flattered.

But Fez's taste is way cooler than mine - he susses all the new stuff out much quicker too. :worship: I just mooch along a few paces behind him.

I've not even added 10 albums to my iTunes this year, only 8 and I'm sure a couple of them came out in 2006

I cannot even think of 8.

1. The Casket Letters - Monkey Swallows The Universe

2. Jeffrey Lewis - 12 Crass Songs

3. Hey Venus - Super Furry Animals

4. Favourite Worst Nightmare - Arctic Monkeys

5. Icky Thump - White Stripes

Not a vintage year for me, really. Looking forward to 2008 though - new Morrissey, British Sea Power and Stephen Malkmus Long Players - get in.

A year or so on, I listen to about 4 or 5 of these regularly.
