Finchy Posted 4 December 2007 Share Posted 4 December 2007 Jamie T - Panic Prevention - I think this is just amazing tbh so original compared to other things around, every song is a tune. Interpol - Our Love To Admire - Beast of an album, massive tunes. Arcade Fire - Neon Bible - Most exciting band for a very long time, 2 amazing albums. Arctic Monkeys - Favourite Worst Nightmare - To come back with this after their first was amazing, just as good IMO. Hard-Fi - Once Upon A Time In The West - Just tunes. Kings Of Leon - Because Of The Times - Best album they have done. Radiohead - In Rainbows - Took me a while to like it but now i do i think it's brilliant. The Twang - Love It When I Feel Like This - A lot of people hate them but i just love the songs. The Good The Bad & The Queen - The Good, The Bad & The Queen - Good stuff, Damon Albarn is so ****ing talented. Band Of Horses - Cease To Begin - Beautiful songs. Simon Posted 4 December 2007 Share Posted 4 December 2007 Porcupine Tree, Tool and to a lesser extent Dream Theater, Coheed & Cambria if you're into PF and progrock. Especially PT are very influenced by Pink Floyd and are British on top of that Would second Dream Theatre, quality prog rock.

foxchop Posted 5 December 2007 Share Posted 5 December 2007 I've got their early stuff but haven't heard this one. You rate it highly? It's a good album, if you like their other albums you'd probably like it. The Joke is the stand-out track on it for me. I'd bet 10 euros on it that no-one else on here would have it in their top 10.
