Kaebi Farts!

Because Sheehan doesn't need time to adapt to a new way of playing, new language, new culture etc etc, Sheehan was trying to impress in the reserves where as Kaebi will probabley be wondering why he's been forced to play in the stiffs (alot of first team players fail to really stand out in reserve teams once they've played first team football alot) and because Sheehan doesn't have 55 caps for his country. Oh, and Sheehan has nothing to do with this. Why does everything come back to Sheehan.

Because YOU were complaining I was unreasonably judging Kaebi as a full-back.

I cannot believe you've come up with so many lame excuses for the guy. It's not like you.

lol

If you think the needing time to adapt to English football is a lame excuse for poor performance then more fool you. It's taken alot of top players in the Premier League a very long time to adapt properly.

Yeah but Sheehan is from Ireland.

And for a man who thinks that Maidstone and Brighton are right next to each other, well, his Geography can't be too hot.

He probably thinks that Sheehan's arrival at LCFC was the result of a 2,627 mile pilgrimage.

Look at Ronaldo for example, it took him two seasons to adapt and now he's touted around as the best in the world.

Obviously we're not on the same scale but it's a worthwhile example to use.

You were comparing him to Elvis who's a striker!! That's why it was unreasonable!! Until I see some stats on Sheehan's goals and assists from open play (most of which for the first team were from left-midfield instead of left-back) then everyone is just pissing in the wind with this argument and we'd all be best served agreeing that we can only make a proper judgment once Kaebi settles into the first team.

I think all but one of us would agree with that.

The other would harp on about some poor-ish performances in the reserves.

Who are we going to play right wing instead then? Previously you were whinging that Ashley Chambers wouldn't get picked because of the evil Iranian but he has had a chance too.

Don't suggest I'm campaigning for Chambers on the right wing. I simply said he had deserved his chance ahead of Kaebi for the contributions he's already made this season NOT that he was ready for first team football, a point that's been clearly demonstrated to my satisfaction.

Kaebi getting a chance doesn't bother me at all. I just don't subscribe to anyone's belief that he's good enough and a great part of me would rather go 4-3-3 without pretending that we have a right winger but I doubt that will be Holloway's thinking.

It is a condemnation of our leadership that we have no reliable right winger and that the only one we have got who might, I only say might, be good enough, is out on loan.

Look at our fu cking squad, Thracian.

It's not like we're leaving out quality players week in week out is it?

New manager getting to know the squad + 55 international caps + no one has really impressed in that position yet = GIVE HIM A CHANCE.

I'm staggered that you've brought Sheehan in to this, I really am.

It's just testament to your sheerbloodymindedness.

We've gone through the 55 caps issue time and again. I'm not the least bit impressed.

Get Manwell to drag up his goals and assists in his professional career. That MIGHT serve him better. But somehow I doubt it.

Have you ever seen Ultra and Thracian in the same room?

Not suggesting they're the same person, but just imagine that. You'd just have to make your excuses and leave, wouldn't you?

I think your first paragraph should demonstrate something to you really. If he isn't ready then he doesn't deserve a chance ahead of someone with Kaebi's track record. He was in the reserves to get used to playing in England, not to prove he deserved a chance on merit due to performances in the reserves. That's the reality from the club's point of view.

Secondly, you can't just change system to "4-3-3" (which is a myth anyway, we played it against WBA, got battered and people started saying it was 4-5-1) just because you don't rate a couple of players. The system is integral to the way the football team plays. And no-one plays a proper 4-3-3. You just have good teams and bad teams who play 4-5-1. If you're a good team then you can pass it off as 4-3-3 because you will have the ball and you will be attacking with the wide strikers in advanced positions. We are not a good team.

Unless it's possession of hallucinogenic drugs or public disorder offences in market street, probably nothing.

I was thinking more of random words being spelt in BLOCK capitals throughout his post tbh. :giggle:

Problem, Sheehans older than Gareth Bale. :crylaugh:

Sheehans the next.... erm..... Alan Paris???

EDIT : Sorry scrub that one. Paris didnt score anywhere near the same amount as Kitson, Kelly, Wright, Russell. He was sh*t. :D God knows how he justified his place as an attacking left back in the 90's??
