I can't criticise Holloway about Hayes. He had a good stint Saturday and has found it hard enough to do threequarters of a match per week never mind cope with a second game in three days. Can't seen how N'Gotty helps our passing from the back but it's a positive side and a brave side although five changes is a lot and I hope they get an early rhythm to do themselves justice. But I'll say from the start it's encouraging. And I hope he doesn't lose faith if things go wrong. We need to build from this starting point not lose faith if there are teething troubles. We've had four years of dour not working.

And also, lets hope this movement that you have mentioned in the past is utilised.

If we lose then it's a case of "we never win at Portman Road" and if we win then maybe the players coming in will have a say in the emphasis of Holloway's transfer strategy.

Kaebi will doubtless take time to settle and may struggle to make the pace for more than an hour. But if he controls and passes the ball as I know he can and makes the runs into dangerous places I saw in his last reserve match then it will be a start. I've always asked for patience and consideration when Academy players come into the side and I don't see why Kaebi shouldn't benefit in the same way. I've no great fears about him playing right midfield as opposed to full-back and he's no real need to be particularly intimidated either because we honestly haven't got a genuine right winger since Gradel went on loan to Bournemouth. Kaebi's no more a risk than anyone else and he does give us a bit of pace. I'd just like him to be brave enough to try and hurt Ipswich. If he fails due to rustiness, misunderstanding his team-mates etc but tries to do the right things I'll be pleased. N'Gotty should provide solid support being him and, the passing aspect apart, I'm quite pleased to see him back in the team.
