Harpenden Fox Posted 12 December 2007 Posted 12 December 2007 mine was a 0-1 home defeat at the hands of West Hamin 1974. Clyde Best was the scorer. A 0-1 home defeat set me up well for the subsequent 33 years.....
melrose Posted 12 December 2007 Posted 12 December 2007 a draw at home to harlow town FA cup 3rd round jan 3rd 1980 why would i want to go again after that!
syston_fox Posted 12 December 2007 Posted 12 December 2007 My first time at Filbert Street was to see Leicester reserves v Sheff Weds reserves.... would have been 1994 sometime I'd guess. Remember they lost 2-0 and I thought it was the end of the world at the time as I wasnt really into football at the time. First league game was: Leicester City 1 - 3 Chelsea (12th October 1996) Julian Watts put us one up on the stroke of half time and then Chelsea brough Vialli on and he changed the game. I remember Watt's goal as if it was yesterday, corner played in, header flicked on and he was at the back post to volley it in. My only other real memory was Ruud Gullit (the chelsea manager at the time) went out his technical area and the leicester fans gave him some stick, so he started joking around with them. Went a couple of times again that season and then never went again for about 4 years. Went quite a lot in the last season and a half at filbert street and had a season ticket since moving to the walkers. The ironic thing is that one of those goals in the 2-0 reserve defeat against sheff weds was also scored by a young defender called Julian Watts.... what are the odds of that? Maybe his only two goals he ever scored?

Leicfox Posted 12 December 2007 Posted 12 December 2007 1985/1986.. Leicester City 3-0 Man Utd I think this was the game, all i can remember was that the Utd fans were ripping the seats out and lobbing them on the pitch??
Durnerz Posted 12 December 2007 Posted 12 December 2007 First ever game was an FNF Reserve match vs Barnsley that finished 1-1 in 1995/6 season Then my first ever first team match was 1996/7 vs Blackburn in the fog, Ian Marshall with our goal after Chris Sutton had put Blackburn ahead.

Smudge Posted 13 December 2007 Posted 13 December 2007 1958; can't remember who we played but I remember being so crushed in the "Spy n Kop" that I couldn't move my arms. When the crowd swayed you just went with them down three or four steps and over a few feet, quite frightening.
