I took the dog to have his bollocks done last week Phube and the Vet told me to stop him licking his bollocks for a fortnight, you ought to refrain from it too I guess - just in case the Doc hasn't told you otherwise like. ;)

Obviously, I have no idea why my dog was licking the vet's nuts.

Thanks everyone for your, errr... kind words!!!

Just to put you all in the pain picture... I'll take the men through a torsion!

Firstly try to imagine being "thwacked in the padoobies" © , We ALL know how the pain builds and builds over a few moment to a fine crescendo of pain which finally dissipates with out us really realising. Total pain time = ~5-10 mins! :S

Now try to imaging that peak of pain, after the twack, being reached... and then getting worse and worse and worse!!! Before spreading to your whole lower abdomen. A constant unending, increasing pain... which still hurt after 10mls of Morphine!!! Finally the pain subside a little, down to just above the worst pain you feel after being hit there after another 10mls of Morphine!!! Finally all pain stops in the operating theatre as you're knocked out!! Total pain time = 4hrs 30mins!!! :o

Finally you wake up with 2 2-inch scars either side of your happy sack!!! And are sore for the next few days!!!

Oh yeah Lads... enjoy Christmas... :santa: Hope it never happens to any of you!! :)

P.s. And yes, any post birth ladies, you probably have it worse!!! But at least you get a cute baby afterwards... I get to keep 2 testicles if they were quick enough!!!

I remember in high school if you weren't protecting your privates it was quite common to get a dick slap ( a back hander to the sack), worst pain ever. Geez high school can be cruel

We're staying in Docking, a tiny village near Brancaster. Kinda the middle of nowhere!!

Docking, and the area around it, is lovely. You been before? Staying with friends/relatives or just over for a break? Don't know how long you're here for but a couple of suggestions...

The Lifeboat Inn on the coast at Thornham is fab - highly recommended. Chances are you'll need to book though. Lifeboat Inn

And walking on the beach at Holkham is pretty much a Boxing Day tradition in these parts.

Burnham Market has some nice shops - well worth a visit. Very posh - kinda Knightsbridge-on-Sea, 4x4 heaven, but worth the trip for people-watching if nowt else. Satchells - very nice independent wine merchants. :thumbup:Satchells

Let me know if you want any other suggestions!

Oh, and if you're bored, could you be a pet and pop over to Chez AoWW to cook Christmas Dinner. Ta muchley :D;)

Yup, we stayed 2 years ago for Christmas too. We go to Burnham Market to get the keys! Probably going to Holt Christmas Eve... unless you can give me a reason why not (i.e. closed, stupidly busy etc.) Think I've been Holkham beach too!

Where d'you live then!?

Never been to Holt on Christmas Eve, but I'm sure it'll be good. I'm further south in the county - nearer Attleborough and Diss - but I know North Norfolk and the coast pretty well. South and North Creake are near you - nice villages for a mooch around.
