Stevosevic Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 Which goal should we put forward as a nomination for the 'Mitre Goal of the Year' award? http://www.lcfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/Lates...1204693,00.html
Fez of Mahrez Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 King v Southampton, although I'm not sure whether that was disallowed cos I read somewhere that only Hume had scored at the Family Stand end this season. By the way, I also enjoyed the sentence about Hume's "staggering" three goals. Whoever writes this shit should be strung up.
davieG Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 Vote Here Unless you subscribe to LCFC World you'll have to rely on your memory, we haven't scored that many anyway Leicester City supporters are being asked to select their Goal of the Year from all of the Foxes' games in the Championship and Carling Cup during 2007. Club officials have come up with a list of six goals to choose from - with Iain Hume laying claim to the prize with a staggering three nominations. Goals from Andy King, Alan Sheehan and Matty Fryatt have also been made available for selection. So make your choice now. The winning goal will be forwarded to the Football League for inclusion in their shortlist for the Mitre Goal of the Year award, which will be announced at the annual gala dinner held in London later this year. andyh1884 Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 Why is DJ's against Palace not on that list? A cracker Failing that I'll plump for Andy King's one
Nath Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 Sheehan Now you've said that, Thracian will worship you.
Wezleylowski Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 King. Fantastic goal and I bet he would be well chuffed to get goal of the season. Who needs Bradley Johnson? We've got Andy King
Bert Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 Why is DJ's against Palace not on that list? A crackerFailing that I'll plump for Andy King's one I sincerely hope you're joking.
DB11 Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 I'll vote for the only one I can remember; Iain Hume v Wolves (a) :w00t:
Basingstoke Fox Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 Tight one between King and Hume v Watford I chose Watford kind of because it spurred us onto an emphatic, unexpected win
Darkzzz_ Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 hume v watford was the best and thats a fact!! not taking anything away from the other goals but this one is all about technique!!
Jack Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 Hume vs. Watford King's goal a very close second though.

Scow Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 Surely it should be Nils' goal Yeah - would have been my choice if nominated. Come back.
danny. Posted 3 January 2008 Posted 3 January 2008 Hume vs Watford for me too Although I didn't see the Andy King goal in person as my other half insisted on getting in the queue for a drink and burger early that half, "don't worry" she said, "we won't miss anything" as we went in 1-2 mins before the end of the half. Just as we walked through the 2nd set of doors we heard a massive cheer, doh!
