Staf Posted 10 January 2008 Posted 10 January 2008 Oh I'm not one of these cryptic ****ers with inside knowledge, but the rumours persist and noone else wants him, so I reckon it is. Oh fair enough i think he will come as well to be honest
richy2704 Posted 10 January 2008 Posted 10 January 2008 Ian Holloway was quite right to leave Plymouth Argyle the club has no ambition at all, We have just sold Ebanks-Blake to Wolves for 1.5 mill, think I could be a Leicester fan? F**k off then. I was thinking of making the trip for the Plymouth game in February but might hold fire on buying train tickets because at this rate Plymouth won't have enough players to complete the fixture actually if you dont mind wearing green and bring your boots to the game Luggy may well pick you.
wirralsimon Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 I know for certain that Ollie did enquire about Paul Connolly when he first came to Leicester. (He is a scouser and his family still live in Liverpool) It's one of those friend of a friend of the family kind of things rather than from the press. However my info goes back before Sturrock issued his hands off warning so is quite out of date, but it wouldn't surprise me if he has renewed his interest if Plymouth are looking to get a bit of cash rather that lose him on a free. Jonezy Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 Where has Knowitall gone?? Yeah I want knowitall back too.....
surrifox Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 well he didn't know about today's developments (or wasn't telling)
Jonezy Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 I'm sure I saw legendary 'knowitall' posting early this morning, and its gone now..... Said that the Scott Sinclair deal was still in the making, and the club did not look for rightbacks at the moment. At least not before we sell one ourselves.

Jonezy Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 also that it took Matt Oakley about 15 mins to agree to join City and that he was earning half of what Kavanagh wanted- perhaps it was all a dream Yep I recall that too.... Freakish.....
STUHILL Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 Love the idea of Scott Sinclair coming here, much needed, altho wouldn't QPR be more likely for him! London club plus got money to pay his wages

Micky Ruddle Posted 13 January 2008 Posted 13 January 2008 Connolly or Chambers. I'd say Chambers, but if the choice was Stearman or Connolly, it'd be Connolly.
Jonezy Posted 13 January 2008 Posted 13 January 2008 Sorry guys but my replys are being delated. I wonder why. Big brother is watching. I dont think it was just you. It looked liked most of the posts from that night dissappeared..... Sinclair still happening??
LeeCovFox Posted 13 January 2008 Posted 13 January 2008 I'm not that convinced we need a right back at present to be honest. However, if we are lucky enough to sell Stearman to Villa, I'd happily have Connolly brought in. Him and Chambers competing for right back would be goood I reckon. Maybe this is what Ollie is planning, who knows? He says more are coming in this week, and it doesn't look as though he is a million miles away from sorting out the midlfield, so logically, perhaps a couple of full backs and a centre back might be on their way in next?
knowitall Posted 14 January 2008 Posted 14 January 2008 I dont think it was just you. It looked liked most of the posts from that night dissappeared.....Sinclair still happening?? Yes your right. Lots of posts where delated when foxestalk changed to BT. Yes Sinclair is still on, but it depends. Are Leicester willing to sell one of their players to Chelsea? You have to guess which one. Its easy really. If the deal is not done by Friday count it as dead. The post that got delated for those whom did not see it was:- Kishishev will not be coming back in 2 weeks time from Leeds (as stated in paper.) He is back all ready. Will be made to train with the Youth. Max Gradel to go back to Bournmouth. Which has now been confirmed. Ollie is looking at 2 other players. Again he wants to bring them in on loan with an option. He has enough right back and unless he sells one he is not looking for another.

How many more players can we loan, arent we getting close to the seasonal limit?

MPH Posted 14 January 2008 Posted 14 January 2008 So it's Chelsea that made the bid for Mattock then... guess Mattock needs to decide if he wants reserve team football at Chelsea of regular champ football at Leicester. Then again.. he might not even make the reserve team and get pushed down to the youth squad !!!

Bezzanator89 Posted 14 January 2008 Posted 14 January 2008 Don't think that's going to happen, not with the 'potential' Sinclair has. We may be slowly getting better but we're not that good...yet.
knowitall Posted 14 January 2008 Posted 14 January 2008 sinclair to come on loan or permanent deal. Sinclair would be loan. Chelsea need him to fill the required number of home grown players for the campions league.
lee7 Posted 14 January 2008 Posted 14 January 2008 Sinclair would be loan. Chelsea need him to fill the required number of home grown players for the campions league. cheers
ibbosuk Posted 14 January 2008 Posted 14 January 2008 Sinclair would be loan. Chelsea need him to fill the required number of home grown players for the campions league. Leicester must play hardball!! If Chelsea want Mattock they have got to give us more than a bloody loan signing!!! Scott Sinclair on a permanant deal, failing that have him on loan with 1st option to buy with a pre-agreed fee.
shen Posted 14 January 2008 Posted 14 January 2008 Sinclair would be loan. Chelsea need him to fill the required number of home grown players for the campions league. That would surely be negated if they got Mattock, no? Not that getting Sinclair here on a permanent deal is realistic by any means anyway...
