well todays news links stearman again with villa apparently they are offering 2.5 for him... This would tie in with that was being said by knowitall...

Hopefully Kis and Mac will stay and continue forming one of the best centre-back pairings in this league, unless someone is going to pay silly money. Wages are not fair, not in football and not anywhere else, I have had so many incompetent bosses over the years, who earned 4 or 5 times more than me. Mandaric wanted a big name, and we got N'gotty, its still better than Fowler or Hasselbaink.
