lee7 Posted 22 January 2008 Posted 22 January 2008 Mark De Vries to move to Dundee UnitedI am shocked and upset that Leicester are trying to sell a player. I wish I could say which one, but He is in my opinion one of the first on my team sheet, can't you even tell us whether he plays as a defender midfielder or striker.
Jonezy Posted 22 January 2008 Posted 22 January 2008 can't you even tell us whether he plays as a defender midfielder or striker. Its a defender, if I read it right....
DB11 Posted 22 January 2008 Posted 22 January 2008 I read a few pages back it's a defender. And from the other clues I also think it is James Chambers.
knowitall Posted 23 January 2008 Posted 23 January 2008 Levein finally helping us after all... He can have Maybury as part of the package...So Kisnorbo, Stearman or McAuley might be sold....... correct
knowitall Posted 23 January 2008 Posted 23 January 2008 Levein finally helping us after all... He can have Maybury as part of the package...So Kisnorbo, Stearman or McAuley might be sold....... Maybury is training with Hearts but Leicester are still paying his wages in full.
Jonezy Posted 23 January 2008 Posted 23 January 2008 Any updates on new signings or are we waiting to sell someone first...?
Unabomber Posted 23 January 2008 Posted 23 January 2008 Why don't you just say which one I think it might be McAuley out of those 3, although the deal might be stalled as Ollie needs to replace him or whoever it is that's going.

I wish I could say which one, but He is in my opinion one of the first on my team sheet, there are some players I'd sell before others but can't say I'd be that bothered with losing some to rebuild the squad. No point getting shocked or upset at change when we are at the arse end of the championship
knowitall Posted 27 January 2008 Posted 27 January 2008 I dream and in my dream I see Milan trying to sell one of our best players. Against the whishes of both player and manager. So for me there is reason to be sad and upset. Also in my dream I see that we still pay the wages in full of Alan Maybury, Hossien Kaebi, Sergio Hellings, Rab Douglas(Premiership wage) and Alan Sheehan All of whom I think will never play for Leicester again. You can add Radostin Kishershev to this list. We are also paying 70 per cent of Darren Kentons, Conrad Logan and Jonathan Hayes wages. We pay Hayes wages just to warm the bench of Northampton Town and play in their second team. In my dream the cost of paying off all the unwanted players brought in from the start of the season will be £3 million. As for buying anyone................... well people need to move out.

Jonezy Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 Oh my.... We are a complete mess... Guess we have to do with what we got then...
surrifox Posted 30 January 2008 Posted 30 January 2008 if there is any truth in this it is poor judgement on MM's part- I understand the financial reality of all this but Ollie is getting value for money with his signings and using existing playing staff as far as possible. To dismantle the squad to meet the wages of these useless signings would be a mistake

To dismantle the squad to meet the wages of these useless signings would be a mistake well todays news links stearman again with villa apparently they are offering 2.5 for him... This would tie in with that was being said by knowitall... IF we sell him: chambers :-) or New foreign import. ( as was suggest by someone else with a contact within the club)

To dismantle the squad to meet the wages of these useless signings would be a mistake There is has yet no offer for Richard Stearman. There is an offer on the Table for Patrick Kisnorbo which has not yet been rejected. It was made 7 days ago. From a perimership team, well for this season anyway. There is an offer on the table for Gareth Mcauley which has yet we have not rejected this has been on the table for 10 days. From a championship team. Matty Fryatt has had talks with Ollie yesterday to find what is happening. Dont know the outcome. The same applies to Alan Sheehan., but he wishes to leave. Can we debate if people think that Bruno N'gotty is 3 times a better player than Gareth Mcauley and 2 and a half times a better player than Patrick Kisnorbo? I believe you get paid what you are worth, but in football this does not apply, because I believe Gareth and Patrick are both better players than Bruno hence they should be paid more than Bruno. Then again some think you need to pay more for a "big name"

The People's Hero Posted 30 January 2008 Posted 30 January 2008 As stated he will know all about Connolly and know he could not stop a pig in a passage as they say down our way. Careful - if Charlton sign him, he might turn out not to be shit. How we laughed when they signed McCarthy....

Wages are not fair, not in football and not anywhere else, I have had so many incompetent bosses over the years, who earned 4 or 5 times more than me. Mandaric wanted a big name, and we got N'gotty, its still better than Fowler or Hasselbaink. Thanks for the update.
