Not going down...

Am I the only one that doesn't think that we'll go down? lol

I just can't see us finishing even within the bottom 6 to be honest, after the transfer window, I have faith that Holloway would have brought in a decent amount of good players in the positions needed and by march/april time we'll start looking like a decent team and a run of form will see us into around 16th-12th in the league.

Probably just me, but there seems to be some MASSIVE over reactions going on at the minute so thought I'd balance it out :P

I feel pretty much the same way.

restructuring the team yet again mid season.....dangerous game when I reckon 30 points from 20 games (Am I right) is what the doctor orders....

Restructuring? Or simply improving it?

Our midfield is so weak at the moment, restructuring/improving by signing new players can't hurt-at least then we might have 4 natural midfielders, rather than having to put forwards and defenders in to make up the numbers.

Apart from your inadvertent double negative in the opening sentence ( ) - I agree with your sentiments entirely.

Ooops didn't even notice that, maybe subconciously I think we will then :unsure:lol

Time for an edit

I don't think we will go down either. I have faith in Holloway and think that he has a big job on his hands and he can't be expected to turn it round straight the way.

I hope that once the transfer window is out of the way, the players who remain will start to gell with the new ones, and a new team spirit can be built. Yes I think we will be ok.

Is this anything to do with the divine right we have to be, at least in the Championship?

I really don'y know whether we will or will not be relegated but I would hazard a guess that the chances are pretty much the same for survival as relegation. Anyone who say's we will not get relegated is adopting wishful thinking approach and anyone who says we will is just suffering from 4 years of living on the edge.

In a way yes, but in another way, I'm expecting a proven manager to do his job professionaly.

Well I don't think he's had a very professional approach so far! In fact I think he's been very childish on some matters.

It's the HolloWAY ;) though, just got to accept his methods, no matter how mad they seem :P:scarf:

Alvin Jarvis can't pass, it doesn't stop him being a genius.

Plus, the beauty of what I said was that I expect the good footballwill come around march/april time :P

Gary Megson and the poison dwarf were both "proven managers".

It didn't stop them taking Forest and Leeds down..

4 years of living on the edge (as Dav G aptly put it) has lead me to feel that by some sort of luck law of averages, we're skating on thin mice.

Yes pal you are right!

The last 4 seasons has just been a pretence.

We really are a great footballing team.

We just play crap on purpose innit?

Why do we want to win football matches when we can gain notoriety by being a mediocre club who have had the most managers of any other club in the last couple of years??

Oh yes...and we just buy crap players for a laugh,or to give them some financial security in these dodgy times.

We also lose at home on purpose just as a joke.

Yes....we really are a great team...adn we wont go down will we....Man City,Forest,Leeds......

P.S...IM BEING FACETIOUS...SORRY!!!!! :santa:

Is it me or do we seem to follow the same trend every season now?

Indifferant start to the season then we turn absolutely dogshit around christmas time untill it picks up around march when we stage a last ditch attempt for survival and end up being quite comfortable.

No I too believe that we won't and although it constantly feels like we're on a bad-run, when taking the last 5 years into account, it's good that we're having 'our bad spell' now - if you know what I mean??? :dunno:
