I have to say, it's been a long while since I typed anything of any substance on here, been bemused by the whole situation for a couple of months now. But I feel i've got to have a stab, all the other youths are doing it at the minute, so why not, hey? (sorry poor joke, R.I.P. and all that).

Anyway, back to the champagne football that Ollie has been serving up. Worried. Very worried.

We are worse than we have been under any manager since perhaps Craig Levein's last month or so. This chap's a motivator and yet he's managed to de-motivate a squad that was already very fragile. What Holloway we thought was going to bring to the table was a knack of getting players to punch above their weight. We might have massive problems in this team, but there's still some quality amongst it. Yet we've got worse. We've proven that we don't have a mean defence at all, unless we play 7 defenders and at least 5 of those play across the back with the 2 others having a party in the mouth in the middle. We cannot score goals, but then that's been the problem all season so to be fair to Holloway he's not caused that problem.

I just cannot see where we go from here? Changing the manager probably isn't going to help, but Holloway must shoulder a little bit of the blame for what's happened since he's taken over. We're actually looking less likely to score than we did under Megson and that for me, is unforgiveable. I've always been worried about Holloway's tactical nouse, but I thought his natural ability to get the players motivated would at least make us competitive in this league, but so far we're a million miles away from even some of the football we served up under Rob Kelly (dare I say!!!).

It will be interesting to see what Ollie does this month in the transfer window. Myself, I think if we get a right winger, and 2 central midfielders who can attack, pass and defend in tandem, a new goalie and a left back, then there's no reason what so ever why we cannot be a top 12 side at this level. But I think we should be about there already without any incoming faces, this league is full of shit houses, I cannot believe how much of a shambles we are.

As i've already said, changing managers again, I couldn't face it. What's the point? Who would we get and will they really make any difference? Just like will a few new players actually make much of a difference on the grand scheme of things? I'm struggling for ideas, it's 4 seasons we've been scampering about the relegation zone. There's not many teams that continue to scrape by without taking the plunge, I fear we don't have the luxury of thinking we'll be alright. We look more clueless than we've ever looked before and being a massive Milan Mandaric advocate, I have to say, he's not made a blind bit of difference in terms of making us a success. I hope that won't continue for long, but to be quite frank i'm at the point where i'm starting to not give a fook any longer, which was exactly like I was when we had The Foxes Trust and the other goobers in charge.

Let's face it. The whole club is filled with cretins. A takeover and it's still full of them. It's almost like putting on a fresh pair of boxers during a 5 day stint of this pissing out of your arse and mouth virus. It won't and hasn't made a blind bit of difference because as you slip them on and sit down with a coke and a smile you've found yourself with another entire pant full.

Horrible times.

I suppose it's a case trying to ride the storm out and allowing Holloway a free reign for the time being, I fear with money though, he'll not know what to do with it and as we continue to lose, he'll be flicking twenty spots at more Hungary folk than the Salvation Army.

I'm pinning all of this firmly on Sacha Lennart's shoulders. He's got a lot to answer for.

The problem I have with Holloway is that he has been constantly criticising our players in public since he got here. Megson did it as well but Holloway has been far worse in his criticisms and I imagine that the team must be completely demoralised at the moment. He has made no secret of the fact that he doesn't think they are good enough. Holloway can speak about optimism all he wants but he hasn't really started to practice it yet has hge?

Its our inability to get 2/3 wins under our belt at home on the trot that is our downfall..

I'm sure Steve Howard will prove a good signing IF he gets the service he requires.

I want to see LCFC back to where we belong starting with the top part of this division if nothing else.

From who though?? Hayes / Sheehan / Mattock / Hume / Weso / Kenton / Stearman!! They've all at some point been employed on the wing this season. We are absolutely desperate for a couple of decent wingers not wanting to be too obvious.

Given a Michael Kightley or Lee Cook type player I'm sure Stevie Howard will bag plenty...

Why do people think things can be turned around at the drop of a coin?

Our depression started from when peter taylor took over, how many years ago was that? Since then we have always taken 1 step forwards and two backwards.

I am not a football manager so i am not going to tell the world how to turn things around. One thing is for sure, i am sure Ollie will get it right in time.

In the reality of the situation i am looking at mid table finishes (12-15) not only for this season but prob for next too. As long as ollie is still here i think we will have had enough contnuity and time to remove all of the players we have damaged over the past 5-8 years.

I support leicester city and with that i know who we are a - second tier team. I dont think we have some devine right to be in the premeirship just because we have been there for a couple of seasons. We are a championship team and have been since 1880 something!!

If you people think we have a devine right to be a big club, go and support a big club because we are what we are and i love us for it!!

Fair do's, but don't try and tell me that Ian Holloway, a man whose one main attribute is motivation, cannot be held accountable for the shocking displays we've put in since his arrival. Far worse than some of the dross under Megson. Ollie will be given a fair crack, Mandaric know's he's got to let him try and sort things out, but he's been far from impressive so far and i'm worried it's a job too big for him.

Neil Warnock and he took over from Peter Taylor.

we had something in the region of £25m in the kitty when peter came in, the modern day equivlant is prob about £40m and we were in the prem. Peter made his mistakes and like most other humans he prob learnt a thing or two from them. I guess neill willy puller did not have as much mopping up to do at place post peter taylor as we have had to do here.

As i said we have continued to go backwarcs since then. we are what we are

Warnock didn't turn things round instantly though. It was a few games before he got them going. Besides Palace didn't have anywere near the problems that we have.

Probably the greatest analogy of our club ever.

Not at all Ric, he is the manager so thats where the buck stops 100% Yes this is the biggest job of his career, i agree with that too. Time will tell as to wherher its a job too far.

The one thing i am sure of is that we will be in a better state when ollie leaves compared to when he came in.

Makes for entertaining reading but it doesn't offer any answers. In fact I believe you convey the feelings of many. Every normal solution has been suggested and yet the own goals have continued, leaving a growing sense of despair.

Everywhere I go, long-time and dedicated fans are saying they no longer care or don't know why they care.

It goes beyond the effects of a few bad results.

Making it worse is the fact that there are no shining lights anywhere.

People already doubt our new manager or at best are reserving judgement.

There's not a single player in our side now who offers a bit of hope, who gives you a sense of expectancy. Everyone looks scared of doing something wrong and that's only making our situation worse.

There's nothing for fans to grasp hold of and take pride in.

We don't lose glorious games 3-2. We're almost apologetic as a team. Even in the pre-match warm-ups there's no-one who's skills or fierce shots offer a glimmer of expectancy.

Ollie says we defend too far back. Well do something about it pal. Nothing can be worse than what's happening now because we're registering relegation form and the red light has gone from flashing to full on.

I know Babs and for the record I do not want IH to go, just yet. It seems odd to me that compared to other Managers and IH's results since he arrived he is getting much easier time for reasons I cannot work out except for the fact that no-one has the stomach for anymore instability. :dunno:

:frusty::crylaugh:

What does that MEAN?!

Agree with every word Ric, especially the bit about Lenhart, how can he sleep at night.

It means that even Ric - who's rarely short of a good idea of two - is starting to draw blanks about how to change our fortunes.

At least Megson identified we had little quality going forward and provided us with a solid platform. He did take it a little too far by employing 5-4-1 against the likes of S****horpe though.

Holloway is attempting to fit players in to a style that he wants to play rather than fitting a style that suits the players we have here at present. He wants us to play high up the pitch, but it's not going to work with the likes of McAuley, Stearman and Sheehan in the back 4.

It's nice for once to actually have a manager who is attack minded - although what good is it going to do if we keep leaking goals when we're shit in front of goal?

Get those fuc king signings in. Can't be any worse than the shit we've got.

What platform? Playing 6 defenders is not the same as having a decent defense. :dunno:
