Ozwin Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 The Zsolt one looks like a class act and Bori looks like a nifty little player. I'm well excited to see them play, in fact I'm excited to see two forign players, doing a job that we should have sorted out ages ago by now. Playing down the bloody wings! I wish them good luck, they'll need it but if they come through they'll be fan favourites I can tell. In the way Hume sort of is now. Come on lads, do the job for us. Let's move up this league. [/Pointless topic]

The dissapointment would be unbearable . I'll get excited when we have back-to-back victories again and not before
Darkzzz_ Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 I agree with manwell on this, we dont know anything until they play!! we can then judge them by what they bring to us as players... i am very hopeful that they will be just a bit special for us!! Im just glad we are making moves to improve this shit heap!!

MikeyT Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 I used to get excited when we signed new players. I'm trying terribly hard not to raise my expectations too much. The dissapointment would be unbearable . I'll get excited when we have back-to-back victories again and not before I'm the same, i'm trying to to get too excited. I've just bought my tickets for the game against Cov, so should be good to see all the new signings getting a look in. But at the same time, i'm keeping my expectations low so that if they do turn out to be pants then it wont be so much of a kick in the teeth! But i have a good feeling!
Thracian Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 Good? I'll believe it all when I see it. I just wonder how many times Holloway has seen these wizards play, who he's seen them play against and in what circumstances.
foxer Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 I reckon they will turn out good. All five of the signing seem positive, and i cant wait for the covscum game!
Trumpet Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 Good? I'll believe it all when I see it. Probably a better side than the likes of Andy King has been playing in the reserves.
lildave3 Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 I'm optimistic. It's definitely hope more than expectation though.

But i have a good feeling! I vaguely remember having one of those in the summer. I'm not sure though it was so long ago, must have been 3 or 4 managers ago I should actually state that I am cautiously optimistic and not spreading negativity
Lovejoy Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 Good? I'll believe it all when I see it. I just wonder how many times Holloway has seen these wizards play, who he's seen them play against and in what circumstances. Sven? Man Citeh? DVD?
WetFlannel Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 The worrying thing is we dont even have many youtube clips to judge them by...

Matt Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 I said I would get excited because i've been excited many times before just to be let down and disappointed, but I must say i'm abit more happy and excited about the new signings...I think it's case of i'm happy that we have got new player in which will replace the current crock of shite, I just hope the new players aren't just new arrivals of shite, I'm very happy we have wingers, whether they'll be good wingers is another question - However we must give them time, and if they do something bad on there debut do not get on their backs straight away.
Chromophobia Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 Wasn't Kaebi supposed to be quality? He wasn't given a trial though was he, he was bought in based on a few short video clips and nothing else. At least these players have been given trials.
Babylon Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 Halmosi > themend of. Leicester > Plymouth Just ask Holloway.
Brainy Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 Halmosi > themend of. But you haven't seen them play, probably never even seen what they look like. Fool.
Geo V Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 Good? I'll believe it all when I see it. I just wonder how many times Holloway has seen these wizards play, who he's seen them play against and in what circumstances. IH has a good track record with foreign players who aren't over the hill so before we all start thinking that any new signing will be as succesful as Kaebi, lets back the manager and hope they are a success. Sometimes I wonder why people even bother to support this club when they almost want certain players and managers to fail.
Manwell Pablo Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 Ferencvaros and Olympiacos? Good enough for me Pablo Ajax, Anderlect, 55 caps for Iran and a place in World Soccers talent scout section. Good enough for me Mr...erm...Fox, however didn't quite turn out the way we planned did it?
andyh1884 Posted 8 January 2008 Posted 8 January 2008 Good? I'll believe it all when I see it. I just wonder how many times Holloway has seen these wizards play, who he's seen them play against and in what circumstances. Given that they were both here on trial I imagine he's seen them in training, possibly a few practice matches between the squad, they probably tore our current defence to pieces & he thought 'I'll give 'em a try, just on loan, like'. The circumstances were probably wet, muddy & cold. With Kaebi shown the door I suppose it was only a matter of time till you found some other poor unsuspecting player to whip up a vendetta for.

I just wonder how many times Holloway has seen these wizards play, who he's seen them play against and in what circumstances. Well they were both on trial for a week, and we have a large scouting network so i hope that our gary penrice had seen them before we took them on trial.
