MikeyT Posted 15 January 2008 Posted 15 January 2008 He'd walk into any Premier League team, even at his age. Bollox that he ain't good enough for Man U... I doubt he could walk into any Premiership team..maybe outside the top 5 or 6 teams maybe. But he hasnt figured for Spurs for god knows how long. I dont know if thats due to injury or not, but i have to disagree with you about any Premiership team!

STUHILL Posted 15 January 2008 Posted 15 January 2008 Leroy Lita would be a bit too hopeful I fear. He is still a Prem Striker I think, even if one of the bottomw few clubs. Someone like Sunderland or Derby will snap him up if he goes. If Derby do then definately would mean Earnshaw would be on his way. We could possible get him!
Tommy G Posted 15 January 2008 Posted 15 January 2008 Wayne Routledge. A great Championship midfield player who would give us that extra option. Lets face it if Bori and Zsolt get injured we are in a mess.Apparently QPR have bid for him so surely we could get him? Ryan Giggs on Loan? From what ive seen of him this season it seems he has had his time and isn't good enough, certainly not for Man Utd. Haha deluded! He is still quality, what attributes has he lost apart from his Pace and his Hair?
MikeyT Posted 15 January 2008 Posted 15 January 2008 Dont want Earnshaw thanks! He had a good season or 2 with West Brom a few years ago, but hasnt really found that form again! I think he's a player who is massively overrated

MikeyT Posted 15 January 2008 Posted 15 January 2008 He has kept Norwich alive, the last few seasons..... I guess, but i still wouldnt really want him here! Dont get me wrong, if he did come here obviously i would back him al the way, i just think to be honest we could do better. I dont know who, but i think we could!
Manwell Pablo Posted 15 January 2008 Posted 15 January 2008 I can't believe that in a thread entitled "realistic transfers" you lot of ended up discussing Ryan Giggs.

I dont know who, but i think we could! We got DJ and Hume, so I see no reason to get another striker to play next to Howard. We need cover for the wings most. Routledge could be a nice addition, but if QPR has got their fingers in there is possibly not going to happen.

We've already spent at least 2.15 million in transfere fees alone, not happening. We've got a Million, Two at most, it wont all go on one player either.

Bezzanator89 Posted 15 January 2008 Author Posted 15 January 2008 Football Rumours do come up with a hell of a lot of crap. It's people that love to stir things up and make interesting conversations... it works though! Leroy Lita. Hmmm. Not too sure, has the pedigree, but Coppell dropped him because of the lack of consistency. Sure, every striker has their bad patches but Lita had gone so many games before being eventually dropped by the Royals manager. Routledge is again inconsistent, that's why he hasn't played much, just like Lita. Mind you, he would slide straight into our side to I really have no excuse to go on a rant... I would dismiss Ryan Giggs immediately, save that one for the wish list topic, also in this forum, not here.

I dont know if thats due to injury or not, but i have to disagree with you about any Premiership team! Ferguson is offering him a new contract. One thing that has to be said about Ferguson, he wont have any player around he doesnt think is up to it...

Just as long as that sort of money is put back into the playing side of things. We might well use the money to buy or loan wingers which seems all the more bizarre as we have let a left winger and a right winger go out on loan...
Bezzanator89 Posted 15 January 2008 Author Posted 15 January 2008 ^ Not surprised. I can see Giggs fulfilling the rest of his golden career there.

shen Posted 15 January 2008 Posted 15 January 2008 I can't believe that in a thread entitled "realistic transfers" you lot of ended up discussing Ryan Giggs. Just like the Paul Connolly thread has turned into "give us some info, knowitall!!" But you never expected this thread to be realistic anyway, did you?
Bezzanator89 Posted 15 January 2008 Author Posted 15 January 2008 There is always going to be someone that will enter a somewhat irrelavent post in the thread. It's a false hope but seeing I made this topic, I'll hope that people will focus on the topic name. If I can't never mind... I'll just make another one!
teblin Posted 15 January 2008 Posted 15 January 2008 Not sure if anyone has seen the football-rumours guff about rivaldo. Just look at this page and see if anything looks interesting: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rivaldo Some joker has been playing silly buggers.

It was a joke about us getting Giggs hence the I still think other midfielders at Man Utd are a lot better now. Giggs has had his time, hes had some shockers for Man Utd this season., Carrick, Nani, Anderson, Ronaldo, Park, Simpson just coming through
shen Posted 15 January 2008 Posted 15 January 2008 You obviously haven't been watching him at all recently then. Of course I have. The guy has proven ability and just because he's being outshone by Ronaldo and plays alongside two sterling youngsters, doesn't mean he's not good enough. In my opinion he's instrumental to Man U's playing style.
