davieG Posted 19 January 2008 Posted 19 January 2008 Rules out everyone on here!!!! We need Ollie on here to do some balancing, maybe more left and right wingers?
Koke Posted 19 January 2008 Posted 19 January 2008 We need Ollie on here to do some balancing, maybe more left and right wingers? That was poor
Trav Le Bleu Posted 19 January 2008 Posted 19 January 2008 There's only one way to sort this out... f... f.. f... FIGHT!!!!!!
Thracian Posted 19 January 2008 Posted 19 January 2008 Because it is solely the view of one or two witnesses who when you read the thread dedicated to the commentary would easily have their evidence brought into question. You yourself posted; Yet you are saying people should give views on a game they didn't see, based upon Radio commentary from John Barber. But then, we all know remember how you condemned Worthington after his first game that you didn't even see so we should know what to expect from you really. Don't you start getting repetitive like tph or I won't talk to you. You're better than that. Never mind the rest I'm impressed with the way you keep my quotes. If you want to put em together in a book there's 10% royalties for you. My mum and sisters will buy one I'm sure.
Wycombe Fox Posted 19 January 2008 Posted 19 January 2008 If your pal tph was restricted to commenting only about players and matches he'd seen, this forum will go all but silent. That's not true Thracian because whilst you're posting, a post from TPH will surely follow, just like night follows day! And that's at no detriment to either of you because everyone's entitled to their opinion.

Don't encourage tph - it's like inviting the plague. Just put a cross on your door and hope it passes others by. (I don't know how many of these to use now because they don't always work).
Thracian Posted 19 January 2008 Posted 19 January 2008 We need Ollie on here to do some balancing, maybe more left and right wingers? Tph will do for the Left wing. People earn respect by being thoughtful and well balanced. Teachers don't work weekends! :D
Hullfox Posted 19 January 2008 Posted 19 January 2008 Rules out everyone on here!!!! Not sure it does, I reckon some people have chips on both shoulders.
WetFlannel Posted 19 January 2008 Posted 19 January 2008 I dont disapprove of armchair fans as i can understand why people may nto want to see their team play, BUT THIS IS SERIOUSLY PISSING ME OFF NOW = SLATING BARBER AND CO. PERSISTENTLY Seriously, Im getting annoyed of hearing his name every two minutes... if you dont like it, go to the bloody match or dont listen to it at all, rather than moaning about it at every opportunity.
Zingari Posted 19 January 2008 Posted 19 January 2008 i didn't go to norwich but i thought we were absolute shite
MPH Posted 19 January 2008 Posted 19 January 2008 Tph will do for the Left wing. you'll certainly do for the right wing.

Tommeh Posted 19 January 2008 Posted 19 January 2008 Brilliantly said Daggers, I've been to most away games this season and when I come back and hear opinions of the game from people listening off the radio its pisses me off no end. Now I didn't go today 4th I've missed I think, but I've got no comment to make on the game except a good point ON PAPER considering their 9 matches unbeaten and we usually loose against norwich. The only persons opinion who counts in this game is Bert
Thracian Posted 19 January 2008 Posted 19 January 2008 i didn't go to norwich but i thought we were absolute shite :D
davieG Posted 19 January 2008 Posted 19 January 2008 Well I did say we had it all All the very latest football gossip Enjoyment and laughter Thought provoking banter
Thracian Posted 19 January 2008 Posted 19 January 2008 Well I did say we had it all I'm doubled up here. :D It's better than watching for real!
Zingari Posted 19 January 2008 Posted 19 January 2008 I'm doubled up here. :D It's better than watching for real! i'm "doubled up" too a very nice irish whiskey
onetruefox Posted 19 January 2008 Posted 19 January 2008 I never went today but I have my opinion, because I am very knowlageble on football.I think we played well and I am looking forward to the replay. We had some great chances and was very happy when we finally got the equaliser.Great header from Bob Lee. No one ever call me an armchair supporter because I know whats going on.

Pipe down Flannel features, you know very well that Barber is a complete buffoon.
WetFlannel Posted 19 January 2008 Posted 19 January 2008 Pipe down Flannel features, you know very well that Barber is a complete buffoon. Does that give you an excuse to moan at every opportunity?
Thracian Posted 19 January 2008 Posted 19 January 2008 i'm "doubled up" too a very nice irish whiskey Cheers. Your very good health.
Guest Posted 19 January 2008 Posted 19 January 2008 Daggers has a good point. When SF is away, he will phone me for my opinion, and it will differ completely to that of the radio commentary. With all the moaning about Barber's "accuracy", it does seem silly to formulate any kind of opinion. I would go one further, and say that watching footy on the TV also gives a false impression; you don't get to see a lot of the running off the ball etc. But then again, I could be being controversial....
skinnydipper Posted 19 January 2008 Posted 19 January 2008 What do I think about getting 0-0 against Norwich?Nothing, because I didn't go to the game. I sat at home and listened to bits of the second half - that's all. Yet there's those who, having listened to a bit more Barber & Piper than I could physically manage seem to think they have a valid opinion about the substitutions, our formation and whether or not it was a good result. And those with the most to post on the matter really have the least to contribute. Bollocks. If you didn't see the game you don't know shit. I recognise that piece of ordnance It is the Daggers hand grenade Instructions; Remove pin Throw into crowded forum Stand back and enjoy
Fez of Mahrez Posted 19 January 2008 Posted 19 January 2008 I draw the line at coming back from a match and practically being told to alter my ratings. **** off, eh?
