Steven Posted 13 March 2005 Posted 13 March 2005 From MB Walker Kenton Dabizas Dublin Maybury Gillespie Nalis Williams Gudjonsson Tiatto de Vries Subs Herschveld Hughes McCarthy Stewart Connolly 4-5-1
Mark Posted 13 March 2005 Posted 13 March 2005 Hughes and McCarthy should be playing not Nalis and Dublin, that's took a bit of optimism away.
Scarby Posted 13 March 2005 Posted 13 March 2005 Looking good. God im getting nervous.......i would love it if we beat blackburn.
Steven Posted 13 March 2005 Author Posted 13 March 2005 Hughes and McCarthy should be playing not Nalis and Dublin, that's took a bit of optimism away. 77870 I would have preferred Hughes to Nalis.
Ricey Posted 13 March 2005 Posted 13 March 2005 Even though I think Hughes is a better player I had a vision earlier that Nalis would do something very special today. Besides Hughes would be great to bring on for the last 25 minutes or so.
Mark Posted 13 March 2005 Posted 13 March 2005 Subs: Hughes, Stewart, Connolly, McCarthy, Hirschfeld. Dickov starts for Blackburn, but no Savage. Blackburn Friedel, Neill, Todd ©, Nelsen, Johansson, Thompson, Reid, Mokoena, Flitcroft, Pedersen, Dickov. Subs: Emerton, Tugay, Stead, Enckelman, Matteo.
Collymore Posted 13 March 2005 Posted 13 March 2005 god i'm so nervous..This last hour seems to have taken a week
Steven Posted 13 March 2005 Author Posted 13 March 2005 god i'm so nervous..This last hour seems to have taken a week 77878 You, me and several thousand others.
Matt Posted 13 March 2005 Posted 13 March 2005 god i'm so nervous..This last hour seems to have taken a week 77878 I've been pretty confident we could beat them all week, nerves are kicking in now (they've only just kicked in though) -Just put my "Theres only one Judas" shirt on.
Matt Posted 13 March 2005 Posted 13 March 2005 1-1 get dickov back to our gaff!" 77881 I'd love to give Dickov some abuse back at the Walkers, but i'd rather get this game won and out of the way, besides, we have even less chance if it comes back for a replay because have you forgot....We don't win at home?!?!? -Just wait till next season when Blackburn are relgated, we can play both Judas's then in the league!
Steven Posted 13 March 2005 Author Posted 13 March 2005 Filbert has just scored a pen past the Blackburn mascot in front of the Leicester fans. Great omen.
Steven Posted 13 March 2005 Author Posted 13 March 2005 HT 0-0 and one has to say not the greatest game. <_<
Fox 4 Life Posted 13 March 2005 Posted 13 March 2005 I hate that little scottish ####!! We look so shit going forward, not for one moment in that game did i think we would score, De Vries does #### all just jumps up for a few headers now and again, other than that we looked good but theres no point looking good if we cant score goals! Honesty unless we get a striker in soon we aint got a hope in hell of getting anywhere!
perthfox Posted 13 March 2005 Posted 13 March 2005 we have now gone 360 mins without a goal, how the hell can we win a game if no one can score, cmon city sort it out
shen Posted 13 March 2005 Posted 13 March 2005 Thanks for a great cup run lads, shame we couln't make it to Cardiff.. oh well, try again next year!
Mark Posted 13 March 2005 Posted 13 March 2005 De Vries is absolute garbage. We looked awful going forward today but i suppose the gameplan wasn't to do that much. Whenever we did though i had no confidence in De Vries doing a lot up front, no suprise we don't score really. Wasn't a penalty, but they were the team trying to attack to score and thats what football is about in the end. THEY WERE THERE FOR THE TAKING TODAY.
TornadoShaunUK Posted 13 March 2005 Posted 13 March 2005 Well, That little fecker knocked us out with a debatable peno - you could see it coming. I must say - that ref was pants, didnt seem to like Leicester City a great deal, also, De Vries was f***king bollacks again. I hope we dont sign Kenton on a fullterm contract when his loan spell is up. Atleast we can concentrate on the league now, but I still can't see where the goals are going to come from... I also thought you could tell the difference between the premiership side and the championship side quite easily particularly during the early stages of the game =/
