STUHILL Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 Good move for him, could be playing Championship again next season if dirty Leeds get promoted. I think his level is league 1 though, no higher!
MikeyT Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 Good luck to him, im sure he will do well for Leeds in that league!
Koke Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 I reckon it'd be better if he had stayed here. At least till the end of the season. Great utility man.
Daggers Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 I reckon it'd be better if he had stayed here. At least till the end of the season. Great utility man. There's others better for any position he can play in though - and at his best position of RB I'd place Stearman and Chambers above him.
Dames Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 Glad he's gone. Wasn't exactly setting the place alight. He was nothing more than a stop gap.
James. Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 There's others better for any position he can play in though - and at his best position of RB I'd place Stearman and Chambers above him. Aside from N'Gotty we don't have much cover at centre back.
Monk Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 I actually think it was a bit of a foolish move to get rid of him. As others have mentioned he was a key player who coulod cover about 4 positions where required. There's not many occasions this season when you can say he was responsible for a goal conceeded. Thats the kind of squad player we need and I don't really understand what we have done to fill that gap?
FleckneyFox Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 wouldve liked him to stay versitility was useful and had looked decent on a couple of occasions this season.
Joe. Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 Good signing for Leeds. I always liked Kenton, did a steady job whenever he was called upon and always gave 100%. Good luck to him.
SamL Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 After some rather suspect performances last season, he's really improved this season and has put in some decent performances. Always got stuck in and given 100% Good Utility man. Good luck to him.
Flynny Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 Exactly. I don't see how anyone can be pleased that he's gone, even if they're not pleased to see him leave. He did the best job he could when he got the chance, and thats what you want in a player who might have to sit on a bench 3, 4, 5 games before getting a cameo.
Koke Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 He's a utility man. And a good one at that. Can play CB, RB and emergency midfield (if shit hits the fan). And at the moment we only have N'Gotty as the only recognizable defender who can step in as cover for Kisnorbo and/or McAuley. He's done his best wherever he's been asked to play. Good luck to him anyway.
Daggers Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 Aside from N'Gotty we don't have much cover at centre back. True - but I am pushed to remember the last time he played there and didn't suck arse. In midfield or left back there was always someone else to pick up the pieces, at RB he was ok but centre back he was simply frightening.
Geo V Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 He`s a decent utility player in defence but I`d prefer to call on N`Gotty for CB and Chambers at RB so I think he wont be missed that much. Good signing for Gary Mac though and Im sure he`ll shine at that level.
Lovejoy Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 About right for that level I think. Wasn't really good enough apart from his versatility this season.
AyewJoking Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 Didnt rate him but surely we need another central defender now???????????????? Kis and Mac are first choice, N'Gotty as cover but he's due his bus pass soon! Then Stearman but is he physical enough?
The Stig Posted 31 January 2008 Posted 31 January 2008 I reckon it'd be better if he had stayed here. At least till the end of the season. We have N Gotty Chambers and Sheean if we need to recall him.
