Simi Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 Alnwick - 5 Chambers - 5 McAuley - 3 Kisnorbo - 5 Clapham - 6 Hume - 2 Oakley - 3 Clemence - 4 Lackzo - 3 Howard - 5 DJ - 5 Subs Mattock - 5 N Gotty - 5 Hayles - 5
Matt Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 GK. Alnwick - 6 - Not too bad, Didn't have that much to do tbh. Defence - Defence as a whole was shite. Chambers - 6 - Not bad a few dodgy passes. Kisnorbo - 4 - Awful, never looked where he was passing, Finally dawned that a man was tracking him, once he'd lost the ball. McAuley - 6 - Hit and miss was probably our best defender thats not much to go by though, looked like he was carrying an injury. Clapham - 6 - Again similar to McAuley hit and miss, Still not sure on the verdict of Clapham. Midfield. Hume - 3 - Shocking, Awful, and ok he's still not in his correct position but when he first started in this position he looked good in it, I actually preferred him in this position, he has been awful for weeks now though, drop him. Clemence - 6 - Abit of a headless chicken today I thought Oakley - 6.5 - One of our better players I suppose. Laczko - 6 Got into good positions then lost the ball, then pulled up with injury. Strikers. Howard - 5 - Poor, but he didn't really get the service. Campbell 5 - Why did he pass back to Howard? Sums the whole team up - Passing back when we had the opportunity to go forward and probably score Subs: N'Gotty, Hayles, Stearman, Mattock, Fryatt. We were awful and with hit and miss performances we deserve to go down, there will certainly be no excuses from me, but then again at the end of the day as fans why should we be making excuses? Its the players that need to be explaining (i.e - Looking for the excuses) I'm abit confused because should we go down i'd really want to see the back of these players and teams from the championship looking at them just to get the shite out our club but then again they got us in this position they get can get us out of it.
Two_Pints_of_Lager Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 Alnwick 4 - Handling poor have never seen him have a good game yet? Chambers 4 - Poor control poor passing Kisnorbo 4 - Lacklustre McAuley 3 - why pull him back he was going nowhere Clapham 2 - Pisspoor Hume 4 - Totally disinterested poor contol poor passing, but he had our only shot at goal Oakley - 7 At least he tried Clemence - 2 Usual crap performance, summed it up when the ref got in his way, so he made a pisspoor pass and turned around to have a go at the ref, everybody else is fault but not his Laczko - 2 Usual poor game Howard - 2 Totally disinterested Campbell - 3 Why did'nt he shoot , ran around a lot, other than that not a lot. Subs Mattock 7 - He tried hard N'gotty 5 - Too slow Hayles 4 - Why??????????? Holloway 1 - Totally clueless Fans all 5042 of us 12/10 could'nt have tried any harder to lift a lacklustre clueless disinterested bunch of shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiite
Daggers Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 Alnwick - 5Chambers - 5 McAuley - 3 Kisnorbo - 5 Clapham - 6 Hume - 2 Oakley - 3 Clemence - 4 Lackzo - 3 Howard - 5 DJ - 5 Subs Mattock - 5 N Gotty - 5 Hayles - 5 I'd argue that Clapham and Chambers deserved less than that - and Salty was obscenely shit before being subbed off, which has to put him worse than Hume (or at least equally bad).
Tevez Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 Alnwick - 5 Chambers - 3 Mcauley - 3 Kisnorbo - 4 Clapham - 3 Zsolt - 2 Clemence - 3 Oakley - 3 Hume - 1 Howard - 1 DJ - 1 Subs = Nothing Exciting 2
Thracian Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 Alnwick - 5Chambers - 3 Mcauley - 3 Kisnorbo - 4 Clapham - 3 Zsolt - 2 Clemence - 3 Oakley - 3 Hume - 1 Howard - 1 DJ - 1 Subs = Nothing Exciting 2 Well, that's just about as experienced a side as we could sensibly put together. Doesn't sound very inspired so what's the excuse for it?
Daggers Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 Howard - 1DJ - 1 I'll wager that if either of those two had scored you'd suddenly be awarding them a 7 or an 8. '1' is ridiculously harsh for two of our better players on the day.
lildave3 Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 Alnwick - 4 Chambers - 5 McAuley - 6 Kisnorbo - 5 Clapham - 6 Hume - 4 Clemence - 5 Oakley - 4 Laczko - 5 Howard - 6 Campbell - 5 Mattock - 6 N'Gotty - 4 Hayles - 5
Asha Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 Alnwick 6 - Not a lot to do, really should have saved peno. Clapham 5 - Just kept sailing balls forward, should have played it around better. Kisnorbo 4 - complete joke, never looked comfortable McAuley 4 - same as Kisnorbo, never looked solid Chambers 6 - at times linked okay with Hume, a few poor crosses. Laczko 4 - got injured, but was shit anyway. Clemence 5 - again awful, never got the balls to the strikers quick enough. Oakley 6 - Not good enough, midfield were shoddy overall again. Hume 6 - tried to show some skill, but the basics were really awful. Campbell 3 - Should of shot when clear late on, didnt. Not meant for this level at all. Howard 4 - won most headers but Campbell never read the flick-ons. Subs: Mattock 6 - Few crosses but didn't get the ball wide enough. N'Gotty 4 - No improvement on McAuley, the simple task of clearing the ball proving difficult. Hayles 5 - Didn't really show anything, would rather Matty came on.
Nath Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 Alnwick 5 - Not alot to do, but let in 2. Dodgey punch too. Clapham 3 - I dont like this player, lost the ball a fair bit Kisnorbo 3 - Is it just me, or do our defenders hold on to the ball to long McAuley 4 - See above Chambers 6 - Energetic, prefer Stearman, if im honest. Laczko 3 - got injured, but was shit. Clemence 5 - Lost the ball to many time, if not by passing astray, then by falling over the ball, or just generally losing it... Oakley 7 - MOTM, only player that showed some enthusiasm. Hume 2 - What was that? Campbell 4 - Ran for stuff, other than that, nothing. Why did he pass when he went clean through? Howard 3 - Lazy as fook. Subs: Mattock 5 - Some glimpses, but like Clemence, loses the ball far too much N'Gotty 4 - No improvement on McAuley, slow, lacked match awareness? Hayles 4 - Too late, 2-0 down. Why ollie? why?

Darkzzz_ Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 Shambles.... A total shambles.... I cant wait for the post match reactions this time....
Flynny Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 Alnwick - 5 Chambers - 3 McAuley - 3.5 Kisnorbo - 5 Clapham - 2 Hume - 2.5 Oakley - 2 Clemence - 2 Lackzo - 3.5 Howard - 4 DJ - 4 Subs Mattock - 6 N Gotty - 5 Hayles - 1,000,000
RowlattsFox Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 Alnwick -5- Should have saved the penalty and i think he could have done better with the 2nd goal but made a couple of saves. Chambers- 4- He's not better than Stearman. McAuley -4- Poor game. Kisnorbo -5- Poor but a little bit better than McAuley. Clapham -6- Did his best to get forward but never had any options. Hume -5- Shocking first half, but was the only one that came close to scoring. Clemence -5- Did he even get the ball in space? Oakley - 6- Another one who had a shocking first half but he tried to get things going in 2nd half, closing down well. Laczko -4- Hardly touched the ball. Howard -4- didnt get any good service but what he did get he wasted. Campbell -4- Ditto. Mattock -5- Tried but just not a winger. N'Gotty -3- I hope McAuley was injured because if he wasnt then this was a wasted substitute. Hayles - N/A
syston_fox Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 Alnwick - 4 - i think he should have saved both goals Chambers - 4 - tried to get forward but there was no connection with him and Hume McAuley - 4 - get rid of it when under pressure Kisnorbo - 5 - should have scored twice at corners. Clapham - 4 - another who cant cross Hume - 2 - another contendor for his worst ever game for us. Oakley - 6 - the one to come away with some credit today Clemence - 2 - cross past the first man... its not that hard!!! Lackzo - 1.5 - absolutely pants - would have been dragged off regardless of injury! Where is the guy who played that brilliant cameo just last month/ Howard - 3 - actually won some headers today... but not when it counted DJ - 3 - shoot FFS Subs Mattock - 5 - give us a real option on the left but poor crossing once more. N Gotty - 2 - awaful! Hayles - 4 - to late to make an impression but at least had a strike on goal when presented with the chance
David O'Leary Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 Alnwick - 4 Chambers - 5 McAuley - 4 Kisnorbo - 6 Clapham - 6 Hume - 2 < IS NOT A RIGHT WINGER, PLAY HIM IN THE F*UCKING HOLE Oakley - 3 Clemence - 4 Lackzo - 3 Howard - 5 DJ - 5 Subs Mattock - 5 N Gotty - 5 Hayles - 5
Joe. Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 Alnwick 5- Might be being harsh, but should have saved the penalty. Chambers 5 Kisnorbo 4 The defence were collectively terrible today and when the defence don't play well, the team don't play well. McAuley 4 Clapham 5 Hume 4- Not a right winger. How many times does this need to be stressed? Clemence 4 Oakley 4 Lackzo 3 DJ 5.5- Looked to me the only player who was actually trying today. Howard 5
WetFlannel Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 Alnwick - 5 Chambers - 4 Kisnorbo - 4 Mcauley - 4 Clapham - 4 Hume - 1 (something seemed wrong today) Oakley - 4 Clemence - 3 Laczko - 4 Howard - 5 Campbell - 5 (that game was completely unfair on campbell to perform in... hoooofing it to him isnt going to get him a goal is it?)
skinnydipper Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 Alnwick - 6 Chambers - 4 McAuley - 5 Kisnorbo - 5 Clapham - 4 Hume - 4 Clemence - 4 Oakley - 6 Laczko - 3 Howard - 4 Campbell - 3 Mattock - 5 N'Gotty - 4 Hayles - 4 Decent energy, not enough quality.Too ponderous on the ball.Didn't create much.DJ and Howard just didn't work and Holloway should have changed front pairing IMO
Daggers Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 Hume - 2 < IS NOT A RIGHT WINGER, PUT HIM IN A F*UCKING HOLE, COVER IT OVER WITH CEMENT AND BUILD A ****ING HOUSE ON IT Slightly excessive - but you are a man after my own heart nonetheless.
turkish14 Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 i thought only 2 players deserved a mention today, and they were mattock when he came on(at least took the attack to them), and clem in the 2nd half(passing to slow at times, but at least he put in a fight)the rest were heartless and shit!
davieG Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 Wow and Walshie reckoned Cov were a very poor side!
