syston_fox Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 i thought only 2 players deserved a mention today, and they were mattock when he came on(at least took the attack to them),and clem in the 2nd half(passing to slow at times, but at least he put in a fight)the rest were heartless and shit! are you confusing clemence with oakley? Message from Chloe: "I hate Iain Hume"
Daggers Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 Wow and Walshie reckoned Cov were a very poor side! Cov were a desperately poor side, you could see how easily a side like WBA could poke it to them. And we managed to make them look good. Seriously, it was like we managed to conspire to lose to ourselves during an off-day. Really pathetic, which is why I am going to bury myself in beer next weekend - watching this crap sober is no way for a grown man to behave.

All away fans should invest in one of these No not the St Bernard the barrel
Legend_in_blue Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 Rewind, rewind. This thread ought to be headed 'Blackpool Player Ratings'. What's changed since then? Not a lot. At least I wasn't there this time. Could have been. Easy drive, Holiday Inn stop off, park car there, have a beer, walk down in 5 - sorted. 2 footed lunge from Kisnorbo - quality. Nothing has changed in my mind. We need to win our home games against all of the teams below us, and hope for something from Hull and Bristol at home as well. Sod the away games. We as fans ought to go on strike. Walshie says Cov were poor, so what does that make us? Gutless. A shambles. A joke. SORT IT OUT!
Daggers Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 No not the St Bernard the barrel But this is City we are talking about - the barrel will be empty and probably infected with some foreign wood disease that wipes out half the trees in the County.
Micky Ruddle Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 Annick - 5 [should of saved the penalty?] Chambers - 2 McAuley - 3 Kisnorbo - 4 Clapham - 4 Hume - 3 Clemence - 3 Oakley - 4 Zsolt - Campbell - 3 [Why on earth did he play the ball back, he should of shot in the latter stages of the second half] Howard - 3 [Never looked interested] Hayles - [Not enough time to prove himself?] Mattock - 5 [impressed with him. Stood out from most?!] N'Gotty - 2 [Didn't like it when he got hold of the ball]
Vestan Pance Posted 23 February 2008 Posted 23 February 2008 Alnwick - 5 Chambers - 3 Mcauley - 3 Kisnorbo - 3 Clapham - 5 Zsolt - 5 Clemence - 2 Oakley - 4 Hume - 3 Howard - 4 DJ - 0 Mental strength from the players - 0 Fans - 10
accessory Posted 24 February 2008 Posted 24 February 2008 Alnwick - 6 Chambers - 6 McAuley - 6 Kisnorbo - 6 Clapham - 6 Hume - 7* Clemence - 5 Oakley - 5 Laczko - 4 Campbell - 5 Howard - 6 Mattock - 6 N'Gotty - 5 Hayles - 6 Holloway - 4 (Yet again proved he can't motivate a side. Left it far too late before bringing on Hayles) Fans - 5 (Too many forget how many shockers Fryatt has had this season)

accessory Posted 24 February 2008 Posted 24 February 2008 At least Hume wasn't scared to shoot, which is more than can be said for Campbell.
accessory Posted 24 February 2008 Posted 24 February 2008 Words fail me. If you seriously believe that Hume was our worst player, you've spent too long on the loopy juice.
syston_fox Posted 24 February 2008 Posted 24 February 2008 If you seriously believe that Hume was our worst player, you've spent too long on the loopy juice. You cant really believe that he deserved a rating of 7 though
Bert Posted 24 February 2008 Posted 24 February 2008 Alnwick - 4Chambers - 5 McAuley - 6 Kisnorbo - 5 Clapham - 6 Hume - 4 Clemence - 5 Oakley - 4 Laczko - 5 Howard - 6 Campbell - 5 Mattock - 6 N'Gotty - 4 Hayles - 5 Least someone was at the same game as me today. Mattock done more attacking than Shush! had all season today, some great runs from the lad.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 24 February 2008 Posted 24 February 2008 Alnwick - 5 Chambers - 5 McAuley - 4 Kisnorbo - 5 Clapham - 5 Hume - 4 Clemence - 5 Oakley - 4 Laczko - 3 Howard - 5 Campbell - 5 Mattock - 6 N'Gotty - 4 Hayles - n/a Must say I am surprised by some of the ratings on here. Oakley hardly saw the ball all game and McAuley was so ponderous it was unreal. If they're getting in behind, defend deeper. Leon Best up front on his own and we couldn't even deal with that. Pathetic and humiliating against a really mediocre team, this is what it must be like to lose to us.
teblin Posted 24 February 2008 Posted 24 February 2008 Alnwick - 5 Chambers - 4 Just poor gives the ball away too much(all the time) McAuley - 5 too casual, think the guy was still in bed. Kisnorbo - 6 Ok Clapham - 4 Poor Hume - 3 was absolutley garbage, had his one good game in 10 last week. Clemence - 5 not great, gave the ball away tried to drive but seemed to give up. Oakley - 5 Ok worked hard but nothing of great note Laczko - 3 not it it at all. Didn't want to klnow. Howard - 5.5 Supply was poor tried to hold it up Campbell - 5.5 Doesn't get close enough to howard, there were at least 6 or 7 time when howard won a flick and he was 20 yard away. Mattock - 6 did ok N'Gotty - 4 Casual Hayles - 5 cause he had a shot, which always helps when you need to score a goal.

Daggers Posted 24 February 2008 Posted 24 February 2008 Bollocks. Some people on here think that hiding away and shirking activity actually is working hard...I know I do. It's a tough job but someone has to avoid it.
Thracian Posted 24 February 2008 Posted 24 February 2008 Least someone was at the same game as me today.Mattock done more attacking than Shush! had all season today, some great runs from the lad. No need to knock Shush! now he's no longer around. I'm pleased for Mattock. He showed himself capable of attacking in the FA Youth Cup. But Shush!'s still second on our list of assists a month after his departure. And we've missed the free-kicks, his occasional goals and other chances he created too. For all Mattock's endeavour and arguably his MoM perfomance he still didn't score nor make a goal. That's what's not been replaced.

It's a tough job but someone has to avoid it. Cometh the hour. Cometh me. Now I supposed I'd better clear it up before my boss arrives.
Poakey Posted 25 February 2008 Posted 25 February 2008 Oakley was a joke, never even noticed him,i couldnt even see him on the pitch,i thought he'd gone off while i was having a crappy Carling on 45 mins.Best City player for me was Fryatt,he looked so lively on that touchline.
