And...Come for the laughs. It's a great social gathering. I'll throw in a free beer.

I doubt you could be any worse than me. :crylaugh:

EDIT: Not that I shall be playinggg...

pfft, I've still got a fridge full of beer that I couldn't even give away at the last game. You were a bit slow on the uptake if I recall correctly! :P

Erm...I remember Lisa saying someone had beer. Put you were at the other end of the pitch! Thats effort.

Anyway LFF had supplied me with some so I was happy :)

I'll take your offer up next time though. I'll be 18 as well. :scarf:

Yeah, I'd have made you walk to my car to get it too. Far too much effort, me thinks! :P

If anything though I'd expect that to make it more scrappy to be honest. That's what was really, REALLY sadly lacking from our team really. A bit of brute force.

I wouldn't necessarily say that. TPH was certainly putting himself about and making his presence felt, as was a certain twat Raj. And I'm sure more than just you tried to 'put the wind up me' as well. :P

I'm not sure though, judging by the makeup of our side I'd say most of our lot wouldn't mind a more physical game if you lot stepped it up a bit. It may well make things a lot more interesting. So long as it was done in good spirits, of course. No Martin Taylor incidents, please!>_<

At least I wouldn't refuse, like Jamie. :P

Although when you do take me off i'm just gonna be under your feet again asking to be put backon anyway! :giggle:

He thinks your Rhinannon? :unsure::mellow:

:giggle:

Cock off you.

I must speak of this person with him.

Thou must not.

In my defence, at least I didn't pull a William Gallas-esque strop.

when in actual fact yes, yes I did..

Why must we not speak of RhiannON to you?

Big frenchman.

I'm starting the next game in midfield after playing most of the last game in places I cannot play i.e. In goal ( ) and left wing.

Left wing is midfield. Surely.

Yeah.

Seriously though, sprinting is not the most effective way to burn off fat, although it will build muscle. Long distance running burns fat, but doesn't build muscle. A mate of ours, who boxes, finds the sauna and steam room useful when he needs to get his weight down for a fight.

What are you training for?

I've read on numerous occasions that short sprint followed by jogging is the best way to burn off fat, for men anyway. I'm only doing it to keep my legs in semi decent shape, along with the squats I do. I can't stand long distance running, it also counteracts against building muscle which is a no no for me.

I'm not training for anything, just want a decent physique. After my cut at the end july ish I may put some before and after pics up for motivation. But then again I would expect extreme rippage from people on here so it's not really the best of ideas! :giggle:

I hate squats; supposed to do them to keep my knee stable. >_<

Did you join Next Generation? Seemed to remember some time ago you mentioned it.

I'm sorry to say that I can't be bothered going through the entire thread:

- Is the date fixed now?

- Connected to that first question: When are you guys playing?

- What are the teams like - have there been any more teams given the sheer amount of "applications"/"guest appearances"/"special appearances"?

Ive been doing squats for years and years.

I was 6ft 2.

Now im 5ft 6.

FACT!

No.

You will shrink to 6ft 7in.

No I go to Fitness First in Leicester Forest East, I have been to Next Gen a few times on guest passes but its just too expensive. I pay 29 quid a month and get everything I need

I think they wanted 55 quid off me a month, and thats without the racket sports? Hmm not sure. I'm not bothered about the pool either. I just want a gym, sauna and steam room with showers. If you don't mind me asking, do you pay 55+ a month at Next Gen? Next gen is easily the best Gym in the county in terms of services it offers.
