Bert Posted 6 March 2008 Posted 6 March 2008 Apparently they were different class at Charlton. Yeah. Whether that has something to do with them being top or not, i don't know. But for obvious reasons when the away team brings more fans, the atmosphere is better.
thybluefox Posted 6 March 2008 Posted 6 March 2008 The away end is!! Only because all of our fans have started to defer!
Dr The Singh Posted 6 March 2008 Posted 6 March 2008 Only because all of our fans have started to defer!
Master Fox Posted 6 March 2008 Posted 6 March 2008 Is it going to be a Bristol Double or just a pain in the lol
Stevosevic Posted 6 March 2008 Posted 6 March 2008 I'll be nervous sitting through this, i honestly believe it's our turn to fall through the trap door.
Simi Posted 6 March 2008 Posted 6 March 2008 Ian Holloway was dealt a blow today with the news that Stephen Clemence and James Wesolowski will miss Saturday's Championship clash against Bristol City through injury.Clemence limped out of Tuesday night's defeat at the hands of Preston with a thigh problem, while Wesolowski recently picked up a hamstring strain in training. But Holloway says that their absence will simply provide a chance for someone else to shine in the middle of the park. He said: "Jimmy's injury is annoying because he would have slotted in for Stephen. But that's the way it goes. "We are now coming to the business end of the season so who is going to crash around and tackle people? I will have to look at that very carefully." Holloway may chose to re-introduce youngster Andy King, who had a spell in the first team earlier this season. He added: "We had a good look at Andy this morning. He'll be in the squad - but will he start? Who knows."
Sods Posted 6 March 2008 Posted 6 March 2008 I'm glad that they've pretty much sold out! Makes for a much better atmosphere. If its anything like the Preston game. It will be electric.
bristol-city-barry Posted 6 March 2008 Posted 6 March 2008 If its anything like the Preston game. It will be electric. 3-1 to bristol city.hollowhead to be sacked by 5pm
Chromophobia Posted 6 March 2008 Posted 6 March 2008 Apparently a mate of mine told me that someone went up to Holloway once and asked him if he had any tactics, then holloway went in his pocket and offered him a tic tac. He's clueless! OLLY OUT! OLLY OUT!

Joe. Posted 6 March 2008 Posted 6 March 2008 Probable: Henderson Stearman Kisnorbo N'Gotty Clapham Etuhu Oakley Hendrie Mattock Howard DJ or possibly: Etuhu Oakley King Hendrie
Koke Posted 6 March 2008 Posted 6 March 2008 Weso's out I'm sorry to say! It really is a shame for the lad. I really hope King get at least a place on the bench. Starting him is maybe asking for too much.
Raj Posted 6 March 2008 Posted 6 March 2008 Weso's out I'm sorry to say! I thought he was getting over his injury Thrac. Mind you,i dont think he is in Ollies plans anyway is he?
leeleic Posted 6 March 2008 Posted 6 March 2008 We'll either destroy them like we did norwich, only cos bristol will have a rare off day, or we'll be destroyed. Either end of the extreme. Which-ever it is, i hope we DON'T sack Oli. C'MON U FOXES!!
Tilley Posted 6 March 2008 Posted 6 March 2008 Henderson Stearman Kisnorbo McAuley Clapham Hume (we all know he will play right wing no matter how much we type on here!) Oakley Hendrie Etuhu/Mattock Howard DJ This will probably be the team whether we agree with it or not and i think we will beat Bristol City because we always turn up against the better teams at home.
BCFC-4-LYF Posted 7 March 2008 Posted 7 March 2008 Morning all. I'm back, a little bit lateer than i wouldve liked but still. So. Its the eve of the game, and, would i be right in guessing that the general consensus is that we will win? Personally i think it will be a tough game, but one which we can pick up at least a point to keep us top of the league. We have very nearly sold out of our allocation, with only 245 tickets left when our ticket office opened this morning. However, from some stupid reason, your pathetic Midlands pigs arent allowing beer to be sold in our end. So, is there any pubs that will welcome City fans that are going by official coach? Or will we have to go straight in the ground? p.s. I think we will win 2-0

As long as we get the result i dont care how we play. Same should go for you. You could do with a result as much as us, but i think we will get the win. We shouldve won against Charlton on Tuesday. we took 2,000 to Charlton on Tuesday night, and our support was absolutely fantastic. I hope it will be the same tomorrow. The Hollowhead factor should make it a good atmosphere from us. What side of the away fans are the biggest singers? Left or right of us?

The right is the Family Stand so i would say to the left because we have our drummer. But thats depends if our fans are up for it.

I'm sure "our drummer" will get a lot of stick too, but it isn't like we haven't heard it before. If you go up, i think you'll do worse than Derby! Just shows how poor this league is really.
